Been over to Ireland many times both in a truck and car north and south. I wear it abroad because it gives them an excuse to stop you if you don’t.

I agree you are buying a truck, the one thing you deserve as a customer is your new truck clean and shiny brand new. Customer service is what you deserve. It is your home while driving, also your office as well how you make a living, Scania do better for drivers! I've been to Smith's a couple of times to pick units up,one was for a mate it was ex WS,it was in great condition but he did have a none fault bump on the M62 one day,the reason I mention it was because he had hells teeth to try and get the camera downloaded with no help from Stobart,just thought I'd mention it,look forward to next vlog.

Whoever cleaned the 'outside' did a good job! It would have probably taken no longer than 15-30 minutes to have the lockers and the floor looking prestine. Why would you leave it like that knowing you were coming to collect it? (Showing my ignorance, is the 660S the cab spec? Only gov.uk shows it as a R500?) I bet you boss wasn't too impressed. Far do's though, get it out of there and back to the yard, half an hour to sort it out how you want it.

No the model is a 660S .Gov is wrong and has now been changed but hasn’t updated yet. Actually quite common for them to get the model wrong on there and a pain to get it put right

I met you years ago at the retro show at gaydon, you had ptm's f12 there, i see snt transport has it now in scotland, tommy rathmells doing well, remember not so long ago he was driving for shipley tsp, i can never figure out why these nearly new trucks come onto the market, 23 reg !,. i also saw that yellow ex robbie burns fh (or its sister) was recently advertised for sale,. i bought an ex thorburn volvo f12 400 gt 6x2 tag off smith bros years ago, they had a picture of it on the old office wall in widnes, i bought that for cash £32000 for an f reg in around 95/96 ish, put a driver on it and he was a nightmare, he was everything you aren't, accidents, git claims, blowouts, breakdowns, fines etc , sold it back to smiths after 6 months and got £28000 for it, i kept my f88 (profile pic) going untill 2000, then went from o/d to own account company driver, easy life and good money and "free trucks" new volvo fm waggon & drag for 13 years and a 63 reg fh4 gt with new montracon curtainsider for 7 years untill i retired in november 22 @ 68.5 y/o,.happy days,...

Good vlog Pete I enjoyed it I like your european trips but it was a good change lovely truck Tom has a cracking fleet of trucks. Totally agree it could've been better presented with the dirty floors and lockers etc but yeah really nice truck 🙂👍
