Do you know why the Rath-Yatra has taken place and what is its significance? And why do the idols of Lord Jagannath, Balarama and Subhadra in Jagannath Puri have big eyes and small body? Then the 16108 queens of Lord Krishna asked Balaram's mother Rohini that why does Krishna call Radha's name all day long even though we serve Krishna so much. Then mother Rohini said that if Krishna and Balaram do not enter the royal palace, then I will tell. The queens thought and made Subhadra stand guard outside the door and told them not to let anyone enter. Then Rohini Mata started the story. Subhadra kept his ear on the door and started listening to the story inside. When Krishna and Balarama came back, they saw Subhadra standing with his ears at the door. When Krishna and Balarama went to enter the palace, Subhadra stopped them. So Krishna and Balarama, like Subhadra, kept their ears on the door and began to listen to the story inside. Then suddenly, due to the feeling of devotion, the hands and feet of the three began to shrink and the eyes began to enlarge. Then Narada Muni came to Dwarka to meet Lord Krishna. Narada Muni asked Lord Krishna to show this form of You to the world. So Lord Krishna promised Narada Muni to show this form to the world in Kali Yuga. And so this form of Him is shown to the world on the day of the Rath Yatra and at the same time God comes out to see the sufferings of His devotees.
