I have a doubt, ma'am.. According to exception of Sec. 30 ... Horse race is not void despite being a wager. It is because in horse racing, the winner is decided not by chance but by skills. But, then why did the court held in Babasaheb Vs Rajaram case that the wrestling game wherein the winner would be paid a certain cash prize and loser wouldn't get anything was a wagering agreement..? Wrestling is also based on skill.. Then why only horse racing is included in this exception? Why not other sports?

Mam a query that if A promise to pay B 1000 if india wins match. Why its wagering . Because here is no reciprocal promise by B that if India looses match then he will pay A

It is not a wagering agreement. But it is still void because there is no consideration by B (an agreement without consideration is void )
