I think I'd be a bit afraid of giving out mochi squishies at Halloween just in case a kiddo thinks it's candy and swallows it - even if you let them know, by the end of the day when it's mixed in with other sweets it may slip their mind!

I said the exact same thing to my husband watching this video! We throw a Halloween party every year and one time I purchased mochi toys like this to put in the goodie bags, but then I realized the danger so I had to make a label for each one saying “NOT FOOD” just to be safe. After doing that 36 times, I decided never to buy mochis again 😜

I received a mochi eye last year while trick or treating with my son, he got one as well. As an adult I put it in my mouth thinking it was gummy body part. Very quickly realized it wasn't, I spit it out and took my sons away from him as he was 3 and puts everything in his mouth, regardless if it's food or not. I didn't want him to swallow it so, yeah. Didn't have to take too many things from him thankfully, just the mochi, a whistle, and a pencil

I'm glad some products aren't scented because scents are a sensory issue for myself. Easy to get headaches ETA: The fuzzy halloween monkey noodles, can you put the top part through the bottom part and make it like a bracelet? with the legs it would look so cute

I think a not bad reason for things not being scented is due to there being so many people who can be either sensitive to scents or get easily overstimulated by them. While there's disappointment with something not being scented, that typically wouldn't end up being a barrier for someone. To someone who is scent sensitive it can remove the accessibility of the item entirely. Requiring a return or waiting for said item's scent to fade to something manageable for them.

ahhh I love those around the eight minute mark, I used to have them but they were a clear plastic with "water" and fishies inside I just got so nostalgic, I remember that feeling so well rn :,) Edit: Also I wanted to say my fave fidget is the astronomical sphere ring, super quiet, looks amazing and fantasy like and you can just keep opening and closing it, sells for like two bucks online. Also has pain potential if you need that, but no injury potential, so that makes it a safe fidget to use for certain destructive coping mechanisms I am not allowed to name on youtube.

I bought a bunch of fidget and 90's themed goodies to hand out with my candy for Halloween. I've been doing it for the last two years and the parents even love seeing some of the stuff I hand out. I don't know if you remember the original pop it toy that you flip inside out and then it pops into the air. As well as clackers/click-clacks, that you swing and it looks like it's changing colors.

Silly putty used to be my fav, but my new fav is POP IT PETS. The texture of the faces on the pop part is excellent and I can discreetly hold one at all times.

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting creative fidgets. My favorite is the monkey noodles with texture. I bought my first textured monkey noodle the other day and I love it. Its pink. Top has a unicorn head with horn and both front legs. Bottom has both back legs, tail and butt. LOL I like the texture and feel of the noodle. I'm all about texture and quiet fidgets. I got it at Dollarama.

Nice. More slippery willies lol. I love how there's cartoons on these ones. Mine was always see-through with little hard mini toy fish inside that were different colours. They always had pink or a blue one material. Lol. I have a new squishie pug. It's so cute. Maybe i'll do a short about my fidget toys. I only have the squishie and a fidget cube right now. Despite being an adult in my late 20s it's cute to find new stuff. Xx

Absolutely love watchinh you try fidget toys! There are so many great ones here! I might need to get the seacucumber!(that's what me and my friends used to call the water wigglers) what I really like about this version is the fabric on the outside! I loved the original ones, but the outside got stuck with hair and every little bits and pieces. I strangely enough like the brain and eyeball too. I would go nuts with it, even though they are very gross 😂 the sound is very appealing tho 👀

Watching you try to push all the pop its in was like watching a game of Whacka Mole at the Arcade and that had me laughing. 😂 And I would be hesitant about giving out tiny Mochis at Halloween to kids even if it was labeled as not food or toy. One of my friends two kids got a few Mochis which she promptly took away as the kids are 3, 5, and 2 months. She was concerned the kids would either stick it in their mouth or give it to the baby.

My favorite fidgets are ones with liquid in them. My most favorite was called a Space fidget, which had a liquid crystal under a dome, and when you touched it it would change colors. I still have it but I don't play with it now because it has a small leak beginning. Also used to have a Nickelodeon bubble wand? thing? with floaties in it. Someone stole that one.
