tux is honestly the best. i’m personally scares of mascots when up close but being at a game and seeing him on the ice game me joy! he also came up behind me and spilled popcorn all over me! the performance he puts in is honestly so amazing and gets the crowd happy to be at the game.

The Condors mascot is supposed to be an Oil drop guy. It's super weird but it's supposed to tie into the Edmonton Oilers. But it's not the main Mascot. The Main one is actually a giant Condor.

Melvin is my favorite,im a phantoms fan and when they introduced him he was was called a puck nose pladoodle but his fun at games drives and atv on the ice and is just a good all around mascot

Rockey was the beaver for the Rivermen back in the old days and now in the SPHL. The Rivs used to have a captain and went with that mascot near the end of their AHL career.

My favorite mascot is Coco from Hershey. The Hershey Bears draw pretty big crowds for an AHL team. I know this because my dad and I go to Hershey Bears games a few times a year. I'm from Central Pennsylvania, and the bears are a big deal here.

You guys did the 3rd mascot from the condors. The first is an actual condor, second is a baby condor, then Riggs which comes into play because his head is An oil drop which ties then Edmonton oilers and the oil fields in bakersfield together.

The Admiral's Mascot being drunk and confused...only natural for Milwaukee. Also Skates is actually pretty popular with the kids. He had a gymnastics competition with my daughter at the Skates' Mates (kid's club) party.

Yeah the problem with the AHL is that it's affiliation-based. If an NHL team ends an affiliation agreement and the AHL team can't negotiate a new one, they're relegated to the CHL or USHL, I think.

valcaryon3 yes they were the Habs affiliate, then they turned to the Ice caps and they will be the Laval Rockets next year, the problem here is that if you don't own the franchise it always changes of affiliation... But know Molson is gonna be the owner so no more changes of team for Habs affiliate.

I believe the Marlies' "Duke" is reference to The Duke of Marlborough which is where the Marlies got the team name from. Also, funny coincidence that the Roadrunners are the farm team of the Coyotes (Looney Tunes' Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote).

It's the Rochester Americans first of all. But there's a story behind the Moose. Local radio station in Rochester had him as a mascot and he would go to games to promote the radio station and it has stuck ever since

I believe that "Fins" was the mascot for the Sharks previous affiliate in Worcester. Also that isn't the best picture of Frenzy the San Jose Barracuda mascot.

Riggs (for the Condors) isn't our main mascot... We have 2 other ones that are supposed to be condors. The thing with Riggs is that Bakersfield's a town that produces a ton of oil, and he's supposed to be a superhero that has an oil drop as a head, but we can't do a mascot with a black head, because... Yeah, I don't think I need to explain that one.

My Favourite mascot of all the AHL is Frenzy. I love his design. He is a barracuda, he did make sense whit the San Jose Barracudas. Also you miss Cosmo the Laval Rocket Mascot. Frenzy is my buddy.
