Hey Mangs and crew! By the way an additional fun fact about Betsy that makes her really neat in my opinion is that someone left in the ability for her to use swords. It absolutely doesn't redeem her too much as a character, but since the Str and Mag stat is interchangeable she has been a very fun unit to use as a bit of a meme, I am not finished with the game so I can't tell you altogether too much about how she turns out but a sword wielding healer is about as unique as it gets (and majorly boosts her experience gain in the early levels if you are careful!) I predict this won't turn her into a swordmaster-healer because those growth rates are going to cause suffering, but it may very well give her the tiny boost she needs to be almost on par with... The Valkyrie who's name I'm too lazy to pull back up right now.

@@KeitaroHirochi Yep. Guaranteed 4 stars if there are major weaknesses (see the FE6 PMU review), it takes some thought and luck (cos FE7 double effectiveness and basically map design, which I did not anticipate) to bring him up to this level.

Regarding Vyland: i actually made him akin to my FE11 vyland, who was a curate all the way till promotion. It was kind of a meme build that i tried to work with so that it became viable. He's also one of the few actual RES tanks iirc. I ended up giving him a spd boon and i think a str bane. Mainly because i wanted him to double and dodge as quickly as possible. I think if it wasn't for the fact that DSNoon made many enemies stronger he would've been a 5 star unit, since FE7 units are plentiful, but weak and inaccurate. But with things as they are, 4 stars is a fair rating Unit rating disagreements: Valerie: i remember the creator giving her an HP bane, which is what totally fucked her over, otherewise she might've been able to take 2 hits and barely live. Despite all that i think she should have 3 stars simply for the fact she can earlypromote to get access to staves, and probably still cap her magic, making her one of your best staff bots, especially during an ironman where other healers could be dead. Ranni: Mostly agreed, would give 2 stars simply for staves on promo and alright bulk tho Sly: I would completely disagree with the concluding statement. Sly does everything a thief needs to do perfectly well. She's fast enough to dodge and will be tanky enough to take hits as she levels up. Similiarly to FE6 Astore. Would give her 4 stars for not only being a thief, but being a thief who thieves very well, and can be carried by pretty much everyone who doesn't have 1 con aswell Olympia: Her damage output is great, she's tanky in both def and hp, and you should be able to get her up to a point where she doesn't get doubled with a speed wing or a couple of levels, which grants you a tanky paladin who hits hard. So 3 stars for that potential alone. Peppa: comparable growths to Lyndi, a bit better bases, more move, should be 3 stars atleast

I mostly agree and disagree with some points of my unit. 3 stars is okay. I gave Finna a con bon and a res bane (which is why she hates magic but it seems thats not the only issue), so that she doesn't get slowed down by the lances she uses, which its something that i hated about GBA pegasus knights. Rebecca was the worse and the last unit that i was expecting for her to replace, yet i posted her in chat notheless, thinking that i would not get picked at all. But still, i'm proud of my frail girl 🙂

i gave Finna a chance, and she is surprisingly good once you surpass her slump. her defenses grow very fast, she is like a flying Cavalier, if she replaced anyone with better stats she would be amazing, dare i say Telur amazing.

I think Finna is a underrated unit just like Link, if you just give her a angelic robe she can almost just as good as telur in everything except a few points of strength, defence and resistance, heck I ended up preferring using a trained Finna instead of Lala because of her high Con. So in my opinion she's a good unit that got screwed by Rebecca's awful bases.

You can't rate a unit with 13 hp more than two stars yet Finna got three ? Interesting So far, from what i've been trying, feel Link is better than Finna because he can at least kill most of the pegasus easily, he also gives a pretty good support as chip damage, meaning he can see combat early on without taking too much risk, he can still get one shot yes, but it's less riskier than Finna. Ranni's base resistance do make her a pretty good mage killer, yeah, she'll get double, but she won't take any damage, I think the idea was to make her a slow but bulky dark mage ? With some nostanking ? After all, she do get weight down by everything, why going for speed

48:21 I remember when I made Shion in one big hurry without experience in making a unit my thought process was ''Hey if I make Shion fast enough it might tie out her shitty con'', except that I ended up undestimating her CON Bane, what lead to her getting doubled by the Uber Spear of a random unit... XD 59:45 And Karina was the unit where I fixed those mistakes, with a Lck Boon/Res Bane instead of a Speed Boon/Con Bane, and my favorite hero class in FE that even came in clutch with Abundy having been gone! XD And she could had been 4 to 5 stars I swear, if it wasn't for her joining right before the finale, even if her stats make up for that XD Now that I have learned from you and my own mistakes that the luck stat is busted and the speed stat is not, it makes me wish I had the oppotunity to have joined your streams earlier and not just around the second half of the playthrough, glad nonethless to have been a part of this! ^^ Red Sun Runso op, plz nerf- /s

I came fast to see ma boi getting 2 stars in a Ironman Run context. I mean yeah the HP bane really fucked him over. However at least he has really good chip in the early game and very good support buddies that build quickly like Finna, George and Telur. 3 stars in a casual context. I recently played this rom, and some of these units were NUTS! Auber, Vyland, Runso, Nit, Kai, Nero, Keisa, they were all such big MVPs in my run. For some reason, Runso didn’t reclass, so I actually had him as a Hector Lord, but he was still able to use the Murasama and was the only one able to damage the final boss. Such a fun run and I can’t wait till the FE8 PMU is out

okay started playing the rom and at least in the Nit story Gormik has the wrong Affinity Wind instead of Fire and starts with an iron axe instead of hand axe (not sure if thats a mistake or not) so I'm not sure if there were any other errors in that mode. also Betsy had 5 con and Sly had 1.

Seems like the reason Betsy and Gormik are like that is because their stats of their Nit mode versions were left untouched, with only their inventories changed. Sly on the other hand always had 1 con.

In all fairness if Ranni wasn't deployed, I would have bet that Loraine would have gotten more stats. Granted the Lyn story characters are generally garbage if you don't do Lyn mode, so they are often difficult to use.

Ironically the next chapter after she joins is a better place to train her, thanks to the axereaver pegasus knights and mages who can't use magic thanks to morb. In the late game she was pretty durable and sometimes even doubled some enemies.

Her frailness mostly comes from the fact she had 2 as at the start, so getting her kills is a hard task as she has to be protected from archers that would double her or melee enemies that would double, and with the 2 as, she isn't gonna be dealing that much damage

Speaking of fliers, I managed to get Nibbler from The Nephalim Saga you head his own Flying unit. What a world of difference it makes when you can actually get three is astounding.

Like with the previous one, a breakdown of the ratings: 1 Star: 2 2 Star: 12 3 Star: 10 4 Star: 11 5 Star: 6 Convoy: Zyth Dancer: Bethany This one has been much more balanced in terms of unit composition. There is a select few units you just always use, and there is a steady supply of reasonably useful others across the game. Most good units are, as before, at the start of the game, but there are more late-game useful units in this one compared to the FE6 CMMU.

Promotions are done through classes in Fe8, so unless he's willing to make custom classes for every character as they're hacked in, promotions will be based on the chosen class.

Hmm, FE6 Chat Units creation had the acknowledged issue of "optimal" Luck banes, though I feel like the attempt to correct that mostly just ended up in a handful of characters being tanked. Character selection being random does contribute to this, since I don't believe most contributers have multiple submissions handy based off the current voted character, so having your Con bane submission get picked at the wrong time is a good way to get characters that are less effective than vanilla. Maybe it should just be left to a "good faith" system in the end? I look forward to seeing what happens in Sacred Stones Chat Units.

Most of them, no. Only Finna has her own death quote since i'm her creator and the who edited the rom. I only added more endings for Telur and a normal ending for creative based on the comments of Subbie and creative himself, from the last PMU stream. Which is a shame because i wanted to include everyone's endings.

Hello there mr Mangs, saying was waiting for this is a given at this point. Can’t disagree with the Keisa review, funny you mention the magic boon, because what she got is a magic bane, was not planning on getting Serra to be honest, in such case would had done a speed bane. Still glad she got 4 stars none the less and is a great unit trough the entire run for what is worth.
