I would really love to see the 335i either get a stand alone or reverted to a more tame but functional car. I might be in a bit of a minority but i kinda hate the "Almost done, but needs to get sorted" states a lot of YT builds ends up in, and then they get parked in a corner for the new shiny build (especially if it's just another build for the channel, not because you needed to build a car for X championship.)

If we do get to see any more 335i content, it would be interesting to see what a standalone ECU and new turbo could do. Maybe I'm forgetting the turbo setup, but it'd be interesting to see what a G35-1050 does in it compared to the GTX3584RS (if that's what is still in it). All these years of N54 woes could be ironed out in short-ish order.

For your 335i I would recommend you swap over to the motiv reflex+ for your fuel and boost control. Its a well integrated standalone controller that speaks to the factory dme. MHD+ has also come out for the platform and you can switch to single bank lambda sensors. Instead of having the o2 sensors in the manifold you can have just 2 sensors in the downpipe. Its fixed a lot of drivability and consistency issues for the single turbo guys

best way to make an e92 reliable is to v8 swap it lol. The money n54 takes isnt worth it with the b58 and s58 now.

@@dylans4562 I see where you're coming from but I don't like thinking in absolutes like that. In my personal opinion, the n54 and b58 share a lot of the same costs to modify. They both need the same kind of modifications to make power. If you want big HP for an n54, big hybrids, or single turbo are required, b58 either a hybrid or big turbo are required. They both need additional fueling, they both benefit heavily from the Reflex+ controller. I think the b58 is the clearly better engine, but the lower entry costs of the n54 still make it an attractive option for budget focussed builds. I myself am a n54 driver and I truly love the car.

yes they share the same cost to modify, but the n54 waay more to maintain. I too myself am an n54 driver, but the relaibilty of everything around the n54 isnt what the newer b58 or s58 is. Constant codes and always chasing something where as the others pretty much strait forward.

I've actually wanted a 335i for years now thanks to your videos. I was always a fan of the e92 M3 but since I'm a JDM enjoyer when I found out they made one with the twin turbski straight six I was instantly sold. I'm finally at the point now that I can afford a 335i and for the last couple months have been actively looking for one. So tl;dr the point you made with the 335i - yep that should apply to me pretty soon 😁

I’m a nostalgic person so I have to say that the cream 240 is my favorite car, it’s the OG that started all this insane collection! But other than that I would choose either the FD S15 BECAUSE IT IS SO PERFECT, or the Barra swapped mustang just because I love the way it sounds and how clean the Barra looks in the engine bay it’s just the perfect swap and I’m a big sucker for a Barra!

I hope you can match the sound of your R32 gtr for your R33 when you finally build it. Not sure what the turbo and exhaust package does to get there but it sounds so close to the raspy 2f2f skyline exhaust note (without all the edited movie sound of course). Cant wait for the R33 build.

Video idea, why not do 2 E92/335i builds? Do a budget build on VVT or VTT whatver theyre called, but try 17T or 19T and see what kind of power u can push on twins/ vs / trying the single turbo route? MHD has really stepped up, and it would make for a great series!

I think different cars will take different place for fave car depending on what your considering, looks, performance, feel, condition, fun, comfort, sound, coolness, rarity and so on. Least flawed, IMO not gonna be the most important factor in favourite car. The blue E36, it was deffinadtely prettier with the old setup but there is something extremely sinisterly agressive (and appealing) with the rears rubbing through the rear arches along with the fronts poking out, though it did look better when the holes in the arches were only a few inches long and half to an inch wide.

On ecutek just use the no lift shift by just making the clutch switch permanently on then lose the launch control. This will solve you issue with the rev limiter.

I believe any car that has yashio factory 6-point harness deserves an extra point on interior, believe me the pink on the A90 4 rotor supra stands out like a sore thumb but its just a really great touch!

Take the 335i too boosted bimmer of Chicago, we have my fully built 335xi making big power tuned by wedge performance. Both John and ken communicated with each other putting it together and it’s been great still working on adding more fuel to hit 40psi but it’s not far from getting there 💯

Hey Adam, this is kind of a far fetched idea but you should really consider it. Ive been building an eclipse gsx for about a year and half now. Its not perfect, still needs much love. I think you should get a gsx as fun go-kart corner ripper. It seriously some of the most raw feeling power ever. Having 30 pounds of boost kicking with minimal traction on all 4 wheels and so much less tech than any new car is one of the coolest things ever. Could be because im just 18 and im stilll a kid but man its a good time.

The R34 to me looks perfect beyond the small bits you mentioned, R34 as cheesy as it sounds is my absolute dream car, the wheels and paint are also something i'd consider the perfect combo for it and if not for your own mentioned small performance issues if that R34 had the sound of the red R32 it would be a 10 to me. That sound of the R32 just sends a little of blood towards my crotchial region every time i hear it xD

Lz has so many epic cars and a super clean style throughout. I’ve always said if I could pick one of Adams cars to have that it would be 100% no questions asked the white chaser. That thing is so sexy and crazy fast plus you never see them out on the street. My top 5 would be 1- the og white chaser, 2- og white evo 5, 3- the red 4 rotor Supra, 4- is the 2jz e36 but I’d want a street set up and 5- would be the black Porsche turbo s that he sold a while back, that car was a perfect mix of nasty and classy and absolutely rips
