SOUNDS PRETTY WEIRD it sounds like wauwauwauwauwauwau it’s basically the earthquake siren or in Spanish “alerta sísmica” it literally says it at some point of the alarm and if you heart it in Mexico, it’s nothing of “just a random weird alarm” ITS THE SISMIC ALARM AND GET OUT IN A HURRY (walk fast, don’t run) or like in tornadoes, protect yourself and stay away from windows and anything that will fall! And in Mexico there’s no amber alerts (well they are but they are a bunch in there so they’ve just decided to say “amber alert” since there was an amber alert every 1 second) so if you hear it, protect yourself with your loved ones!

Haha the Mexico alarm does sound weird, people there sometimes joke about the sound, usually just saying "wawawawawawawa" to someone else or people near the area lol But it is scary to hear it as it activates when there's an earthquake and im still traumatized for that one 7.1 earthquake so i usually panic (even though now it only sounds for an earthquake that you can barely even feel) But the more you hear it the more you get used to it :v But the memes people post about it are also funny-
