Thoroughly enjoyed this commentary spanning Eltons albums. I mostly agree with you, however “The One” and “Peachtree Road” I felt like should’ve been higher. Especially if you look at the UK version of Peachtree Road with “Electricity” and “Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher”. Thanks for the great video

I have come to absolutely love The Big Picture to the point it’s my 3rd favorite album. I love every single song. So just rewatching this I was sad you ranked it so low but that’s the beauty of music 🎵 Also your high ranking of albums I haven’t listened to yet such as Breaking Hearts give me hopes of more albums I will enjoy. Thanks again for this thoroughly review.

Agree " the one " as a songs is a masterpiece in my opinion. Could listen to it anytime. I guess why the call it the blues is also on to low for zero. Great song on a great album. But i agree i like sleeping with the past more, espacially that masterpiece song sacrifice. I would love to have Circle of life and Can you feel the love tonight on made in England, i mean it was in the same era, and i know they are little bit cheesy yess and musical songs, but i grew up with the Lion king songs, so that's my childhood. I will say that song House on made in England is awsome aswell. GREAT rewiew

With I Am Your Robot, there is an interview from 1982 where Elton says he wrote most of that song and Bernie only contributed a line or two. So in fairness to Bernie, he got labeled with the whole thing sadly! Disagree on Wonderful Crazy Night, I love the upbeat lyrics, the band performance and overall tunes, it was a nice change after The Union and Diving Board.

Heavenly disagree with Empty Sky. Wonderful album with great musicians like Roger Pope and Caleb Quaye, great voice, harpsichord and piano playing. The title track is one of his best rockers. It is a top 5 album for me. Completely underrated. But interesting review. The Fox IMO is his best eighties album.

@@UnknownYTUser23 "Leather Jackets" gets a LOT of hate flung towards it, but it truly isn't as bad as the critics make it out to be. Hoop of Fire, Slow Rivers, I Fall Apart, Paris (one of his all-around best), Gypsy Heart - heck, I even like Angelene and (god forbid) Don't Trust That Woman. It is way better than Ice on Fire, the album that preceded it.

My CD of Tumbleweed has a bonus track of Madman (the song) and I hate to say it, but it blows away the version on the Madman album. I think Mick Ronson is on guitar.
