@@femmesammy8768 Well.... I understand why you'd want to do it in this 'Style of Media' but personally 'An Album about PTSD' would go better telling a more Traditional Format initially with the War Propaganda for 'X Conflict,' Enlistment or drafting, 'The 'I can't make your Combat real' Training segment. More Traditional Songs...riiight up until the deployment or 'Marching Orders' The Calm before the Storm. (Optionally you could have some minor Skirmish segments with Traditional Action movie reminiscent beats to show that 'Not all soldiers get it' or 'Oh maybe it IS Like the Combat Training because it goes so well despite the harsher severity.) Before a Turning Point Track Called 'IM VERY REAL' to actually be the point where the horrors of war develop. And what's introduced in this Song doesn't go away for the rest of Album / piece. Some part of this song will be in the rest of the Work in the background you can barely make out or its more prominent. Why that soldier saw that day. And THEN You start going into the Oppressive Downward Spiral and make it evoke Everywhere at the End of Time with the distortion of reality. And it would have to be like a Light Switch of increasing or lesser intensity through sequences evoking continuing Combat, the Discharge, flashbacks and 'Becoming a Pleb again' as in trying to just 'go back' to society while your still scared. Depending on when you set it. You could make tracks that have 'nobody quite getting what's wrong' or Tracks about and supposed to represent Treatment to live with it...but it doesn't go away. It's only managed. What the ending is is anyone's guess. Maybe an 'IM VERY REAL' Reprise that fades and fades to a lesser form as another track starts to form on top of it. Not completely getting rid of it but able to manage it. But that's all conceptual speculation for How a concept album would work.

There's also a project that's still in the works titled "Forevermore and Nevermore", which is a collaborative project that attempts to take the format of everywhere at the end of time and stretch the whole listening experience to 24+ hours. A number of prominent people in the caretaker community have contributed to this, as well as some lesser known/less active people. Currently, stage 4 act 1, which emulates the first half of the original stage 4, is finished and act 2 is in the works.

Nowhere at the Beginning of Millennium is a very interesting take, where they basically try to do what the Caretaker does with ballroom music, but instead changes the genre. The way I've observed it, is that it's kind of got more of a late 80s to early 90s feel to it, with the art that's used, while a lot of them get unrecognizable, I can notice some things like the first one kind of looking like the Pixar lamp, and the second one looking like an N64 cartridge. Also, there was this other album I found called Atmospheric Constitution Whispering Nothing, where instead of trying to depict dementia, it tries to depict schizophrenia.

May as well throw my two cents in since I've gone through all of these aside Pleasantries remastered. Voices: This one was really scary and unsettling. Stage 4 of it was just brutal to listen to with the person screaming in my ears. It was the only one I didn't do start-to-finish, probably because I couldn't write while screaming was happening. Full samples: Makes the original even more depressing considering a fair chunk of the songs are about loss of love or being alone. Pleasantries: I remember not liking this one for some reason. I think it was too repetitious to the point of being able to catch the really quick repeats easily. Dunno. I'll have to check the remaster. NATMOS: While the other two big kahunas are melancholy and downtrodden, I loved how this had an air of rebellion. The one in here fought back until the bitter end and raged, raged into the night. Though, I felt more like this represented childhood summertimes transitioning into confusing and then boring adulthood over a person decaying away. Schizophrenia: It's short, sweet, and gets the point across. A multi-hour version of this where there'd be only a faint whisper every few minutes in the early stages would be terrifying and amazing. Minecraft: Listened to with a friend. We stopped playing the game two-thirds through, listened to the last parts in a lake, then hid the lake away so we wouldn't be reminded of it. The song titles are kinda dumb, but the album does its job. Reversed: Red stuff scary? I'm not actually going to listen to more than a bit of it. EITBON: I was there for the premier and stayed up into the night to listen to the WHOLE THING in one go with chat. It was an amazing experience watching it all live with others, and you can see me scattered about in there, more often in Stage 4 and beyond. Did you leave out the videos clips on purpose or did you miss those while listening in? They really added to the lucid moments. And the ending, won't say anything, but that was also quite the experience with the chat. Couple extra shoutouts: Everywhere at the End of the Charger: Cool version with mostly video game music and some memery in it. I haven't listened to the whole thing, so I can't give it a proper review, but it's a thing. Some tracks do seem to go on for far too long compared to their length (say a 20-second song is played on loop for four minutes). The CareBREAKers - EverywhereAtSHUTTHEFUCKUP: This is painfully hilarious to listen to. It's by the group who made NATMOS and is a mockery of some of the crappier Caretaker fan projects and the general things you see all over the community. TheLegendaryBulldozer : He makes Caretaker memes and is the guy who had added lyrics to End of Time and Bliss tracks. Totally not biased towards the channel because he made a meme I came up with, nope.

@@TheDigitalSaloon Finally listened to the original Pleasantries again. I remember why I dislike it now--the start of Stage 4 is a lot of the same thing again and again. Sure, it's loud chaos, but I can hear the same "Wilbur" sound in there a lot, which means it's a sound clip being played on loop for minutes on end instead of this confused mush jumping all over with little rhyme or reason.

I really like the thought of using music to put different mental disorders and conditions in to prospective. One reason because I really like the idea of visualising mental disorders using music is because I was diagnosed with both Autism and Aspergers, and if someone were to make a Autism or Aspergers version of EATEOT then I think it should be called something along the lines of "Everywhere at times of unfocused experiences" or EATOUE, the reason why I think it should be called that is because usually I am not really able to focus on anything for long periods of time and even if I am focused I am usually only focused on certain things and not the experience as a whole, in other words I usually only focus on only certain sounds or things while everything else is kinda ignored, and sometimes I just stop focusing on what's happening entirely and just start thinking about things that interest me,

Been wondering if you're planning to cover another fan made project with the unofficial stage 7 by Wilhelm Lyons. There's multiple versions of it where the patient either goes to heaven, hell or purgatory with the very recently released one where the patient gets reincarnated. I was kinda expecting you to at least put this project in the honorable mentions, but I'm surprised you didn't even mention it. Edit: My bad, the reincarnation album is made by the same guy, but it's a very different project of his.

I actually had it in the script to mention it but then chose not to include them! I personally didn't find them to be anything remarkable and only included them originally because I knew of them. @@TheDigitalSaloon I'd honestly say you're really missing out... I take it in a way as if you didn't listen to them yet. The later stages of Hell not only become a glitchy, distorted mess but also up in volume and become an absolute chaos of fork on a schoolboard types of noises until finally becoming a slow and quiet (altho still unsettling) music without any specific melody, showing you that there's absolutely no hope left. Meanwhile Heaven is a soothing series of reverbs and choirs that are actually remixes of the samples used in the original.

Hey, this video got me into EATEOT fan projects and now i make my own, i can't thank you enough for this video, you've made some people get some nice hobbies... About making dementia music, but yeah. If you ever want to make a part 2 (which would probably get you some views) here are some fan project's i'd recommend. Most of these aren't finished however, or are being remastered. -Forevermore and Nevermore You heard about this, it's the more than 24 hour eateot fan project, Forevermore and Nevermore. Even though it's MASSIVE, it's one of the best fan projects in terms of pure quality. And that comes from someone who... Kinda knows what they're talking about! Currently they are the remastering the first 3 stages, and Stage 3 Act 1 just got released (yes stages can have 2 acts in this project), and Stage 5 Act 1 is close to completion! Overall, i highly recommend... Just don't listen to it in one setting. In fact just listen to each stage individually in one setting. -Everywhere in a Different Universe It's a project that recreates everywhere at the end of time, but every sample in that project is replaced with a cover of it. Simple concept, but it's actually really good. The first 3 stages have been remastered and the post-awareness that hasn't been remastered isn't amazing but overall i highly recomend it. Plus, they are doing the same thing to every one of caretaker's albums. From everywhere, an empty bliss, to An empty bliss beyond this world, to some more obscure releases like Persistent Repetition of Phrases. -EverywhereAtSHUTTHEF***UP Do you want some agony? This is a parody/joke album made by some skilled fan project creators to mock bad fan projects (like all pleasantries must conclude since in terms of caretaker level skill it's incredibly low). This is highly inspired by V/Vm, another Moniker by Leyland Kirby which is basically his shitposting albums. It's hilarious so yeah, watch... Though it's very loud sometimes so don't wear headphones. -All The Grand Memories Of All The Lovely Years A more realistic take of dementia, this project is a delight, It has a protagonist called Matthew, and a very unique progression, with a confirmed diagnosis, and a transition to post-awareness. Also a full stage of terminal lucidity, which is really neat. -Sound of Insanity Revisted Not sure if you'll be as big on this one as you didn't really get into NATMOS, but... No, this is a project about dementia, not somebody losing their sanity. The title is clickbait... And that's my only critisism. Using 2000's to modern day EDM music, this is a vibe of a journey. Along with that, it has great production quality, each track has near-caretaker quality, also i've made a fan project of this album which combines this project and Forevermore and Nevermore. -Nowhere at the Millenium of Space: Redux I know you're not the biggest NATMOS fan, but this is an amazing project. Using news segments as bumpers between certain tracks, and using 8 years instead of 6 stages makes this incredibly unique, and also wonderful. You don't need to check this one out, but i do recommend if you're into 90's music. -The Depths of a Lost Mind EATEOT, but with modern pop music! And actual GOOD pop music, not like... 90% of pop music out there. This uses vocals in some tracks, and is also made by a friend of mine, so i do want you to watch it. Overall, i do recomend it a lot. It has some beautiful tracks. Also, in post-awareness there are interlude tracks which act as clarity points and they nearly made me cry oh my. ...And that's a wrap. Sorry for this mess of words, but this video changed me a lot, not sure what would happen in 2021 if i didn't see this video. Have a great day, and thank you. May your ballroom remain eternal!

Leyland Kirby's EATEOT is sort of like the sonic equivalent of a novel, one like James Joyce's Ulysses. The subject matter is totally unrelated, and the writing style is practically unrelated, except for what might be considered a stream of conscious. It has a lengthy chapter of prose without any punctuation marks.

I always felt like the singing in the beginning of the Stage 1 with lyrics was more to show the deterioration of the patient's physical health more then mental. (Or at the very least the use of their physical health being used as a crutch and way to deny their mental condition) Like that they were having a much harder time than usual hitting the notes and were basically forced into whispering out the lyrics because of a harder time breathing and strained vocal cords. Also I feel that as the stages go on they go from singing out loud to just trying to remember how the tune is supposed to go in their head. And I know this wasn't intentional but I think this also adds another layer to the first song "It's just a Burning Memory/I Can't Believe it's just a Burning Memory." Because of being it's based on a famous song by Al Bowly, An artist and singer who rather infamously had a strained voice throughout his career.

The last song in stage 1 is A Heartbreaking Severance, which is an extra distorted version of Heartaches, and a version not made by al bowly ( i hope i spelled that right. ) and its very slowed, more than the stage 1 with voices beggining song, maybe like 1 key down or something. And it symbolizes a breakup between a couple, which is very depressing and existential and stuff. Stage. 2-4 would just be the most depressing stages, maybe more than EATEOT stage 2 and 3 combined. and stages 5-8 would be the post awarness stages. 4 of them reading Advanced plaque entaglement or Post awarness confusions.
