Solaris has to be my fave release of 2023 so far. I don't normally like tropical florals they can be too heady, but the contrast with the lemon and blackcurrant balances it beautifully

Try and spray Dioriviera on a piece of thick paper. It stays on it for MONTHS! I think of you use it on clothes it will last a very long time and actually gets better the longer it's on.

Loved this format & your descriptions - as others have said, so please keep it coming; however, what piqued my interest most was when you mentioned you were a horse girl… okay, being a horse-girl myself (back in my youth), I’d love to find a perfume that takes me back to the days of brushing & working my horse: the air sweet with summer hay, grass & wood shavings; the salty scent of his sweat mixed with the clean smell of his hide; and also the scent of the tack room: chaps, saddle leather & leather balsams… if you have any to mention/share, please do!

Really enjoyed your thoughts on these new releases. . Two have caught my attention. Love the sound of the L'artisan raspberry and suede. But the Inverness from Memo is definitely one I'll be checking out. Sounds beautiful, and as I'm currently in Scotland, and it's really drawing me in.👍😊

I smelled this fragrance haphazardly in a galleries Lafayette mall and I frankly did not expect it to be so good. The smell is very nice yet I would not describe it as divine. I tested it on my wrist and it lasts quite pretty (I'm someone with a skin that usually fragrance doesn't last much on). The bottle is very classy and a nice tribute to Madonna's bra he created especially for her. If you like sugar, vanilla, and any gourmande scents you'll love it especially it's not very strong and a versatile fragrance you can wear at the office or when going out for dinner but definitely not for clubbing.

Thanks to you I found Gris Charnel. The best perfume for my taste and anyone who smells it on me falls in love. I was even trapped in an elevator by 4 different people who would not let me out until I revealed what I was wearing. I love this fragrance and ❤ you for bringing it into my life. I loved the opening of Divine so much, it smelled so good on my skin but the dry down was really bad on me, and it reminded me of mens cologne the more i wore it throughout the day but great lasting power. Super sad that the scent doesnt stay like it is on the opening because it was an instant love!

I didn’t get any lavender when I tried Burberry goddess on the test strip. Maybe it will show up more on my skin. It also reminded me slightly of vanilla woods by seven virtues and maybe even alibi by Oscar de la renta.

Actually the first fragrance Kurkdjian created was J'adore L'Or. At least that's what Dior and Francis say themselves :) That was the first perfume he started to work on, it just happened that it got released later than Dioriviera. Would love to hear your thoughts on J'adore L'or!

I’m bummed that it’s not the same L’or as 2017, which had vanilla! This one doesn’t have it at at all, according to the note breakdown. I smelled a sample in a magazine, and I liked it “alright,” but again, why could they give it the same name as something different that will be impossible to find eventually??? Ugggg. 2017 was the only J’adore that I ever considered buying but I could never find it.

Smelled Solaris, well-blended creamy solar floral with 10h performance. Good value. Smelled Oud Stallion, smelled like leather dipped in oil. Bit too much for me. Smelled King Blue... terrible animalic on skin, but the licorice-vibe in the air was good. Still, too much for me. I've also smelled the entire Penhaligon's Potions & Remedies (only good 1 was the Babycat dupe), and Mr. Thompson (embarrassing designer scent for €245). Did also try the 2 from Thameen - the scents were good, their performance sucked though so probably not worth the €290 retail.

I'm super late, but just in case someone reads this and helps: TRY JPG Divine, I was afraid of the salty note, but in my case, I sense it when I first spray, but when it dries down it ends up smelling super sweet and warm on my skin. So it's truly something to try before saying yes or no. Came by because I can't make up my mind about buying Burberry Goddess, but I thought I'd drop this comment while I'm at it haha

@@jusderose After it dries down it reminded me a lot of Eilish, and even Kayali Vanilla 28 because it became very brown sugar on me. Don’t get me wrong, I have and love both of these! For some reason, the lavender didn’t last very long on me, it was only in the opening, which I loved….but it didn’t last. I much prefer Black Opium Le Parfum, because although it’s marketed as a mixture of a bunch of vanillas as Burberry Goddess is, it’s unique. BG just wasn’t that for me.

The regular Narciso Rodriguez Musc smells like a swimming pool to me, it’s pure chlorine. My husband compared it to TCP antiseptic liquid, so I guess there are a fair few people who don’t get what NR fans do when smelling those perfumes! I tested the new All of Me and was happy to discover that it didn’t smell like a chemical mess so this must be a range they’re doing for those of us who are sensitive to whatever synthetic musk is in their other range….. I wonder if there are Musc for her fans that think this new musk smells like chemicals?!

What is your favourite raspberry scent for women? Very curious as the raspberry leather part you had me at the opening but I am unsure about the leather. I have bought the ebony woods because you have recommended it, but it is a common attar scent in India. Smells like Pan and men's attar that is most common in India. Smell is good though. So I gave it to my brother.

Interesting…I purchased the travel spray of Burberry goddess because I sampled and didn’t get lavender. I thought I wouldn’t like it but the lavender just added a bit of depth maybe bc I didn’t smell lavender at all. Lavender garden doesn’t make sense to me, but we are all different!

I have the travel spray of Burberry goddess..I am not even a vanilla die hard, but there is something that pulls you back to it …the only other vanilla fragrance I have is dedcool taunt(fresh vanilla). I also can noooot stand lavender and was happy goddess is not strong on that note. I think it’s nice.

The first time I saw one from the BVLGARI Allegra line in a Video. I own Dolce Estasi and love layering it with NR Pure Musc for her. The Libre Platinum is more adult I feel and actually unisex. It still has the Libre DNA but for me gives the Bube of someone who is Self-assured and dies not need the entrance that the Original and other flankers provide with their sweetness

I absolutely HATE the JPG divine 😂 So sad. I want to like the burberry goddes, but I’m just not sure about Vanilla for me. I did like the libre platinum in store (better than the original), but I prefer the Libre Intense ❤
