In Canada we have candies called dots that are completely different they are a harder gummy candy❕❗

@@PurpleCinnamon-Land-Of-Misfits We have a gummy candy that are little domes that are just called Dots they are a type of gum drop... but Candy Dots are the hard sugar circles on paper also referred to as Candy Buttons... thinking on it now I think I always called them Candy Buttons more than Candy Dots.

My candy cigarette addiction when I was little was out of control! I was like a 2 or 3 pack a day chewer and had to cut back to 1 pack a day because my teeth were not liking it LMAO! I had to then quit cold turkey...😏😂🤣

I used to roll a pack of candy kings in my shoulder sleeve because I saw it in a movie snd thought ut was cool as a kid lol...all time favorite candys back in the day were charms pops back when they were square and jolly rancher sticks.. best gum the chinese fortune gum in orange wrapper ..

I'm so noticeably older. My cildhood candies were Turkish Taffy, B B Bats, Pixie sticks, Butternut bars....and if you love the Reggie Bar, see if you can find a Butternut...I was so excited for my first Reggie, but it just wasn't as good. Probably the chocolate/caramel/peanut balance wasn't the same.

The hey mikey kid( John Gilchrist) is still alive.The pop rocks thing was a myth.He became the director of sales at madison square Garden.Just read it cause I heard that as a kid too and then I heard it wasnt true.I loved these candies as a kid.I remember bazooka gum that had the little comics in them.Wonder if they still exist.

Really miss the original giant sweet tarts.. I think they took them off the market because a choking hazard, but they were the best. Unfortunately, the company replaced them with the giant chewy sweet tarts... horrible texture. Really missed ther regular. You can still get the tiny sweet tarts in the rolls, but not as fun as the old giant ones.

When it comes to the Reggie bar, is this a big version of the turtles. The thing is, the Reggie bars must have came out before the turtles. The turtles candy, is nothing but caramel , with nuts, covered in chocolate, Reggie bar, is caramel with nuts, and you pretty much get where this is going. I feel, the turtles, just became the superior Reggie bar, so to say. I also feel, that for Reggie bar, disappeared because of the reasons, and not just the turtles are more popular.
