I vaguely remember you being too hard on yourself last time you did a costume review. If it were regular clothes you were reviewing your rating might be legit but it's *costumes.* The criteria must be different. Anything that's not the polyester fast fashion pre-made Halloween monstrosities deserves at least a 3 out of 4. Maybe consider a scale or of 10. Even your early attempts shouldn't be judged at less than 6 out of 10. This also lets the rest of us still maintain satisfaction in our humble attempts at playing pretend.

I can’t be too nice, otherwise it’s not a roast! 😂 I definitely get what you mean though; and in general I don’t judge my costumes at the same level as normal clothes. This was more just for the purpose of looking more closely at sewing technique. As far as overall execution/effectiveness they all would be much higher rated :)
