Love your videos, and usually agree with most you say. One thing to pick at is Robertson Diaz decision, I don't like that almost all content creators are saying about Robertson may be better for 1 m less. It can't be decided purely based on that. 8m is obviously a great price point to have. Robertson and saka/foden etc (7m +8m) Vs Diaz and cancello/james/chilwell (+ 1m upgrade somewhere else if chelsea boys taken instead) This should be the real question, and for me Diaz combination looks likely to get more points.

As a Blackburn fan, rothwell loves sitting deep and making mazy runs forward with the ball. His end product is what’s let him down. I don’t think in the prem he will be allowed so much time on the ball, that coupled with his end product for me does not make him a viable option.

To begin with Son was an absolute stick for me. I’ve ended up dropping him to go for a haaland and Jesus strike force with Salah and Martinelli my only stand out midfielders. I think a captain rotation between haaland and salah will be key. In defence I’ve gone heavy with Liverpools TAA and Robo with James, Chillwell and Perisic. I’ve gone for the extremely undervalued bench of N.Williams (potential 4mil starter) Undav and Andreas now he’s at Fulham could be a steal at 4.5 mil

Always going to be chilwell>James at the same price, since he’s been at Chelsea I’ve had every single chilwell haul, and James was very frustrating last season for a lot of managers, plus chilwell is just 12% owned currently

I’ve had all james haul not chilwell. But, if chilwell is confirmed fit coming back from a serious injury, I’ll go with him. During their attack chilwell usually stays at the edge of the box or in the far post.

I'm in the same camp, both are great but when Chilwell was fit he had more chance of points, and with both fit they will have to share. At least with Chilwell there's no risk of re-positioning across the back-line.

As a Liverpool fan having watched the first pre season game, Nunez for me will be main starting striker for Liverpool and it really looks like a change of system as well. Diaz and Salah will get minutes but playing in a 4-2-3-1. Salah is not as nailed on for the goal return as he normally is because of the change of system. Don't be surprised to see Nunez and one of either Carvalho/Elliott become the main focal point of Liverpool attack.

You could certainly save a bit of money on your goalkeepers either a 4.0 for Raya or a 4.5 for Ramsdale if you want to rotate keepers, if Raya is just backup that's just a waste. Rice could be moved to a 4.5 to save money to put elsewhere or moved to a 5.5 if you save money on keepers, he's not going to score loads of points. I would also try to find a couple of millions to get Son or Salah instead of Sterling but he could be worth the risk

Interesting point on Diaz vs Robbo, but thing is imo we have a lot more interesting 5 mil defender picks (for instance Doherty) than 6 mil midfielders. So where it maybe is true that Robbo get's a better value for money ratio, its the combo with the other player you have to get which brings Diaz on top. For instance I rather have Diaz + Doherty than Robbo + Guimaraes.

Salah is a different player and always scores, creates and gets the highest percentage of the captain. When he scores two goals and takes 3 bonuses, it is difficult. Salah is a first man and always without danger because he scores in small and big teams and is always essential to his presence. Formation is very important

I'd go for a different 5.0 GK. Newcastle have to play city and Liverpool in their opening 5 games. I'd personally go for Ramsdale because Arsenal have really good opening fixtures. If you wildcard any week after GW5 I think Pope is a very good option though

@@PNorm Last season Pope played for Burnley which has far worse defence than Newcastle. Yet he had exact same points as Mendy did, even tho Mendy had 6 more cleansheets. Pope is getting load of bonus points and save points. I am counting that his points from saves and bonus won't go down that much, but his cleansheets will go up(in Newcastle, comparing that to Burnley) I expect Pope to have more points at the end of the season than Mendy. Chealse's defence is not all that great specially now when they lost Rüdiger who was the best defensive player they had. I really am NC beliver this season. They convinced me finishing 2nd part of the season on 3rd spot(even tho they were in relegation zone in first half of the season) If Pope managed to even Mendy's points while playing for Burnley I think he deffinitly can outscore him, now when he plays for Newcastle. Pope in my oppinion is great option and can be massive differential, specially in first few weeks, since he will not have a huge ownership. I was hopeing since he moved to NC that he will be 5.0 and not 5.5 so I can have him, when I saw 5.0 price reveal I had no debate with myself, I just instantly got him. He is kinda my diferential, since most of the teams at the beggining will have 7-8 same players, and most likley evreyone will go for Ederson/Alison/Mendy

@@PNorm I value Pope more than Trippier, cause it is on GK slot. It is like a bonus. In order to have Trippier who is deffinitly good option, I would have to sacrefice other premium option from defence. While Pope comes as bonus. I understand ur point of view, but again, Mendy was supposed to have farm more points than Pope last season, since he was Burnley's GK yet they ended up the same. I'd say NC is surley better than Burnley and he'll have more CS-s. It is just personal preference, I think they'll be similar again, Pope is just me going for diferential, with my gutt.

Mahrez on the right is far better than Foden on the right though, so I don't suspect Foden to play there as often compared to let's say Bernardo. I think it's more likely Bernardo moves to RW to compete with Mahrez and Foden moves to midfield, than the other way around. This could be good for Bernardo.

During. this seaon, I reckon Diaz will end up around price of Mane last season. He's gonna be filling his shoes right? I wonder if clean sheet bonus might hit Mount this season too - without Rudiger keeping the back line secure. I like the setup. But without Salah - who becomes the captain when your premier player has a tough opponent. It's a tougher choice without Salah. Template doesn't keep 0.5m wriggle room. I just don't get what the hype is around Neto. Saka is likely more nailed than Foden. Both quality players. 19:42 team is 100.5m right?!

I’ve currently got 3 5.5m midfielders of which 2 are playing and the other is benched. I’m set on the 5 premium defenders and I’ve got Salah, Saka and Kane to fill out the rest of my team in the 541. My 5.5 mids are Neto, Aaronson and Wissa. I just don’t know how I can improve that?? Any advice appreciated

I think 5-4-1 is key, regardless of which players you get! Can you drop one of the the 3 5.5s to a 4.5? Then either leave the extra 1.0 in the bank to give you more manoeuvrability with 1st transfer or move Aaronson up to odegaard/martinelli?

@@jascu4251 I could do that but I really want to have a squad of 12 starters with one on the bench to rotate. My defence is filled out already and there’s no 5.5 forwards that I’d consider as starters (maybe Undav but we will see with him). That leaves me with 16.5m for 3 midfielders that all start for their teams. You could say Pereira is a starter for Fulham but I just don’t want him. Tricky one 🤷‍♂️

@@MathewRoberts1 Normally I like to have a squad of 12 starters too, but this year I think the way the fixtures have fallen favourably for all the big boys it changes things for me slightly. I'm planning to still have 12 starters in the squad still, I just don't know who's starting yet, so do I need them on gw1? There's a bunch of risky 5.0s that could be gold, Elanga, Willock, Bailey. Any of these could start, or could be on the bench. With 5 subs now, they're all a good bet for some minutes and have goal threat. One of these starts and there'll be a bandwagon. Son doesn't have penalties though, I'd go for Kane and Haaland up front and saka in midfield if you don't want salah. It also saves you 0.5 million to upgrade elsewhere
