27:16 is my rig lol. Forgot to add, is actually modded with infinite rotation from side to side. It doesnt have FFB (yet), but my best on Zolder has been highs 1:29s since I ended building it like a week ago (controller main for 800 hours lol). Edit: Will post a video on discord of my driving lol

3:13 - It is in fact a Omega prime lite with the XL RS from your code :) The small monitor is a homemade 7" dashboard with a touch screen i got from amazon and a 3d printed case :) And it is the Next Level Racing HF8 Haptic Feedback Gaming Pad since i cant have buttkickers where i live :P And i am now saving up for a Simagic setup to move on from my trusty G29

Jardier you should give the playseat trophy a try. For someone with limited room the throphy is a god sent since its sturdy enough for loadcells and 15nm bases but can be moved around and even hung up on the wall. I am 6.4 and 80kg and the ergonomics are great. 6 hour playsessions and no back pain or strain in my arms.

Love that setup. I'm trying to build my first. What cockpit are you using? It looks like the wheel base is separate from the seat base. Those monitors look amazing!

(25:42) Yea im really trying my best to hide all cables and its doable, a lot of zip ties and some other tools do the work. Just dont look right under the desk :D there are like 20 different cables bunch up together.

My setup is basically a logitech g403 and a keyboard and still managed to do 1:50 and 2:20 on Monza and Spa respectively

Hello Jardier, your content convinced me to get a DD. Its my first wheelbase and its in the clamped to table state😂 but I am loving driving on it. Id rate my setup a 2 fr now tho

Ayo 7:37 thats Mine, Guess I'll take this opportunity to clear some things up 1. The Shifter is the SHH Shifter, its is a very good shifter for the money (like just over £100 when i bought it) and can do both H-Pattern and Sequential 2. What you can't see is I do infact have a monitor on the side, however i do choose to use my laptop screen for A. It's simply what i am used too, and B, i run my sims and record my videos in 2k resolution, which the monitor cannot do. Trust me EVERYONE gets very confused why i do this 3. Yes it is infact the GT Omega Apex Wheel Stand, the cable management is actually pretty good on the wheel itself, it just looks bad here due to the cables for the laptop charger, ethernet port and my monitor power cable being in shot. 4. I don't use VR, but i do use TrackIR on occasion, mostly for DCS but it does prove useful for Euro Truck Simulator. I don't use it for ACC since the Radar has me covered. 4.1. To be Pedantic the Wheelbase is the TX not the T300 so i "only"have 900 degrees of rotation instead of 1080 degrees (Read this section like you have adenoids if you want a bit of extra humour) In anycase i'll happily take a 7/10 rating anyday of the week :)

Called buy a better monitor! 2k monitors aren’t expensive! Just bought a 32in 2k 165/170fps 1ms IPS gigabyte for $199 new on Newegg 2 days ago! Also so many other options that are cheap even in 27in

Just bought my first shifter in _years_. Did some research and found out about SHH Shifters. SHH Shifter Thorn is awesome, I would 100% recommended it. Looks good, feels good and works great. And H-pattern/seq switching is easy and fast (and with newer version of shifter, it doesn't need plate change).

11:45 , that rig is mine, the table is mounted to the wall with beefy steel profiles, bolted to the structure of the house. I will break any wheel mounting clamp before the table even moves. The table is now a structural part of my house :D. And yes, the chair is exactly the one you are thinking, comfy as hell, the driving position is very F1 like as I tend to scoot quite close to keep my elbows at a good angle. I have literally fallen asleep in that chair while watching Monaco 2024

Now I have the TR TRX Alpine. Got my first DD base and pedals, Clubsport DD, F1 wheel, and CSL elite v2 pedals. (G923 previously). Working on getting a PC..woot!

I am going to rate GT-Omega gaming chairs. At most one year in 50% to 70% will have multiple splits in the PU leather. The PU leather quality is variable. One batch fine, the next is garbage. On the GT-Omega Prime: By the time you add everything to the rig which should have been included for the price, you could have bought a PSR-1.
