@ziglind yes I keep thinking this. The silent protagonist completely killed my entire love for Far cry 5. There was literally no internal conflict between the MC and the main antagonist. While in Far cry 6 you get to see the 2 perspectives of what Anton believes in and how does that conflicts with what you want to do. The death of "El Tigre for example" we were sad about it but to Anton he was finally killing one of the people who killed his father. Joseph was just on his own the entire time and had no connection to the MC

Farcry5 was just a disappointing game especially compared to 4 in probably all attributes you could compare the both although I most say josepa seems a bit more interesting than pink🦩 the very fact the game just forced you thru the story with the resistance points (e.g. I done 23/52 and killed her already) but literally 9/10times I was confused if these were actual main story missions or side but it didn't matter because out of all these missions maybe 5 were with actual cutscenes and felt like they had a point&worth doing . The idea of exploring the map to unlock the map just seemed pointless& unrewarding. all weapons are already unlocked just locked behind $ +removing the machete was a big L no challenges or unique ways for you to unlock certain weapons so you already knew there isn't anything exiting for you to do/unlock in the map . The addition of having companions to me is a pointless too , I'd rather play co-op with a friend . Who cares about your story if the gameplay is dry ? I went from bad ass vass to🦩pagon and still enjoyed pinkys game more than vass due to the actual gameplay&not the story . Gameplay wise 6 is even better because the map is worthy of exploring&rewarding. The gun detail is crazily insane & I was impressed not like 5 where from the beginning I was thrown off in disgust🤢 I was so stuck in the beautiful&colourful "yara" just like in 4&3 but 5? Everything about it is dull , grey & disgusting

@@1mariomaniac Pagan Min wasn't a villain for me, I think he was a man that wanted to be heard by his own suppose to be family, to make him realize that the people who he was teaming up with were the ones that hurt his family and people, same as Vaas, I didn't saw him as villain either, Vaas was used by his sister, and made him insane, Pagan only wanted revenge and clean up the germs that were around cuz they were corrupting his island, Pagan wish no harm as he was trying to talk things out to the other people, and was being nice and kind, until you piss him off when you don't even want to accommodate and don't listen to just the deal he wants without harm to your main character, all he wanted is for people to listen of his crying for peace, etc, driven by madness and sadness of his family death, is sad that both Vaas and Pagan was just trynna make a difference, people look at the ones insane villains when they are the real ones who is trynna make a difference and the real heroes, hell even Joseph Seed on Far Cry 5 he wasn't that evil like people look at it, he knew something was coming and no one listen, is the way of life I guess, people don't want to listen this days, when someone trying to safe them, either way none from any far cry was a villain to begin with for me, it felt like a lost soul, they want to be found and rescued, they want to make a change, is sad if you look from their eyes and perspective, this is why I love Far Cry series.

Far Cry 4 is literally the best one by far. Has the best gameplay, the most beautiful setting, amazing villain, hilarious co op experiences, defeating the fortresses were really cool, the rare animal hunting, funny gyrocopter, amazing corpse launches, running over the shop dude on the road, hiding a c4 on your car then jump out and blow up your friend, one of the GREATEST dlcs I ever played Valley of the Yetis, a really cool ending cutscene when you don't move when Pagin says not to. Idk man, I loved 3 and 5, but I had the most fun on Far Cry 4 hands down. Also going to Shangri-la was really sick.

Litterally playing fc2 right now and thinking the same thing. So many glaring issues that are implemented on purpose. Game is supposed to be ultra realistic but at the same time, if my weapon jams infront of somebody trying to shoot me, im going to throw the weapon down and draw my sidearm, as opposed to staring at the jamming fucking weapon like you do in the game. They dont allow fast travel (the busses are almost more tedious to use than just driving) because they wanted players to have to drive around and experience the ground breaking graphics engine (at the time) however, even if the graphics were good for the time which i wont comment on, the game is capped at 30 fps and wasnt optimized for different resolutions so it just looks like a dogshit mess unless your on pc. Have fun experiencing that while you drive around one of the largest (at the time) and empty open world maps with the slowest vehicles ive ever seen. Couple that with a recycled patrol enemy every 2 mins to tail you and try and send you back 2 hours in progress to the last time you saved and im having a goddamned ball! I dont even need to go on about the audio lines being sped up, how about the fact that theres a whole world full of diamonds to hunt even though theres only really like 5 good weapons and a handful of upgrades that dont cost anywhere near enough to want to slowly pick up 1 diamond at a time. I really dont have an issue with the malaria, i think that the game forcing you to do missions to get medicine actually IS a nice realistic touch that incentivices you to actually do side missions, and also adds depth to the character. Where i take issue is the fact that the game is just so shallow. The side missions are no different than the regular mission, slowly get to destination, use some of the worst gunplay ive ever seen to kill some generic hardly named face and then recieve meds. The main story sucks for the same reason, repetitive (shitty) gameplay with some generic context as to why your doing it. This is made worse by the fact that YOU are also just some guy. A mercenary? Sounds cool enough except the story tries to make you a real mercenary. You dont give a shit about what happens to the people in the UNNAMED AFRICAN COUNTRY, or the place itself (couldnt even come up with a real setting? even less reason to care) you are doing everything only to get paid. So if my character doesnt give a shit, why should i? Why am i enduring some of the most brutal gameplay for a subpar story and meh gunplay, because the guy i control works for money? That doesnt make me want to play through the game, that makes me want to get my guy out of the country so he can cure his malaria and get a better contract lol. Atleast in FC3 in the most basic sense you were a guy trying to rescue/get revenge for his friends and family, so it actually makes me want to progress. In FC2 every time i saw the jackal i was just hoping it would be followed by the end credits. This guy didnt kill me, he didnt do anything worse than the apr or ufll did to me, where my motivation to actually hunt this guy down? FC2 in its current state sucks. If they could actually remaster it in a way that keeps it faithful to itself but makes it better (graphics, worldbuilding, gunplay, varied mission objectives) it would be considered perfect.
