i’m in south africa. i’m a trainer on these units Service Error 25 is the most common problem on the SCC range, and on the newer CM_P range. One of the most important "fixes “ is making sure your software is up to date. Make sure with every visit that you have the latest software with you.

Yes, for me it’s the most complicated combi to troubleshoot. It’s one of the few manufacturers that I have not been fortunate to have training on it by them. I’m sure if you saw one , a lot of the troubleshooting would come back to you. All about schematics and sequence of operations.

Love Rationals they are basically self diagnosing, once your in the engineers mode you can test everything, I work on a ton of these machine the worse are the small 61 models as there's no room as everything is just squashed in there to make it fit. 👊

Great Video. Did you already know the pump was bad for the video? I only ask since you had a pump on hand to swap out. I know you're in Canada. Here in the lower states it takes some time to get those parts. I watch all your videos. You do great work. I am mostly a refrigeration guy, but my customers are asking for more and more. I never worked on a combi oven ever. Looks like i need some factory training. Any infor regarding that would be most appreciated.

I, just got one of those pumps, it is not so complicate it , to use it. The most complicated is to get the hose into steam generator. Next week I ,ll try to clean steam generator.

I wanted a large quantity of water to make sure the drain valve was working and I know exactly how much water I put in so I can test how much water pressure should be coming out of that clean jet nozzle in the oven cavity.

Hi there, you might be able to help me please? I have just replaced the boiler / steam generator unit and now the boiler doesn’t fill up with water. The generator came with the ready fitted level electrode which I thought it might be faulty. Previously the steam generator had a leak but apart of that the oven was steaming perfectly. Now I’m stuck , as the boiler the steam generator not filling so hence no steam. Help please Thank you in advance, Chris

Is the fill solenoid getting power? Go into the service mode, does the electrode show a “1” or “0”. If the tank is empty but it shows “1” next to the electrode, it could be wired wrong.

Sir, can you help me. My problem is our Rational combi is continously draining water. Just after i turned on the unit the water will continously draining it didnt stop. It will just stop when i turn off the unit. I hope you will notice me sir. thank you in advance. new subscriber here.

Sounds like a possible water level electrode issue, see if the electrode is scaled up.

Nice video. filthy kitchen, but that's what happens. I must warn you about the "new" iCombi Pro because Its going to rock your world as a repair guy (in a bad way) Hope Rational fix all the (returning) software problems with it cause its making a dent in their GOOD name. Also the build form is crazy 6/1+10/1 sizes with plastic underside? and flat on the table construction? and loads of separate pcb boards like pump control board on the back side bottom!? and pcb underneath the boiler compartment why!? and that eSTL with Error 27 why? Reused the fan motor but needed to add another board to work with BUS signals. Rational is perhaps one of the best but this time they gone overboard with the changes.

@@cristymay6558 sorry to hear that, some software problems seems to be resolved in the 7 months since but other problems are related to drainage and can't be helped. Just the slightest restriction causes the overflow to start pouring. What's your main issues with them?

@@obelixer9751 one oven had a failed probe 2 weeks old , other oven the grids that hold the gastronome containers broke off , the spot-welds are crap, last oven after 2 days from installation error on cleaning 101 , , not sorted yet . all ovens purchased recently .I also see you can no longer change the elements without changing the whole boiler.. everything in them seems to be plastic , the scc was a great machine , waiting for 2 weeks for parts for the pro under warranty
