Biography of the Author
Venkata Subba Rao Yeragudipati, Ph.D., FIE., C. Eng. (I) was born in 1938. He is a Chartered Mining Engineer, Govt. of India Certified Mines Manager, Govt. of India Certified Mines Surveyor, Astronomer,
Author and Astrologer. He was a faculty member of Mining Engineering Department of Osmania University, Hyderabad and later in Geology
Department of S. V. University, Tirupati, India.
After retirement, as Executive Engineer, he served as Visiting
Professor of Jyotish (Astronomy and Astrology), Rāshtriya Sanskrit University, Tirupati (2000-2013). He is the author of several books
on Veda-Sciences published by Lambert Academic Publications, West Germany and has several research papers to his credit in National and International Journals of UK and USA. He is a Member of

It's a very high calorie astrological menu being served, and what a logic, perhaps respected Sri YVSR being an astronomer with valley depth level knowledge in astrology , could be quite possible. I started watching from part 3 and was a so thrilling experience. I studied astrology of atleast 4 systems since past 2.5 decades, resultingly fed up and left due to stereotype writing or confusedly confusing writing or may be even intentional. Well, now I am at that point, even foundation level things are also so nicely being explained with great conviction for which I am not finding any words except bowing my head down with folded hands to both of you. नमश्शिवाय।/Namaśśivāya|🙏🏻 Thank you so much dear Subbā rāo gāru🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Really excellent because that's the way things have been derived. I think my descriptions will be little lengthy. Thanks in anticipation for going through all the below points.🙏🏻 1. Regarding Graha's being the rulers of of the signs of the zodiac. I still remember Dilīp avargal's video, he explains by using a mirror in abhimukha. The logic is same which is what explained by you regarding taking Leo as 1st. So, w.r.t. the order in Solar system Sun is been assigned, next to Sun It's Mercury (Kanyā), next to Mercury It's Venus (thus tulā), next to Venus It's Earth but we know why Earth isn't taken as It's reference & next to that is Mars (thus Vṛścika has been assigned) next to Mars It's Jupiter (thus Dhanu has been assigned) next to Jupiter It's Saturn (thus Makara is been assigned) then Dilīp avargal has used mirror perpendicularly to the Simha Makara axis (in South Indian chart) space. Then Saturn's house (Makara) reflection falls in Kumbha (thus Saturn has been assigned). Next, Jupiter's reflection from Dhanu is Mīna hence Jupiter was assigned. Similarly for, Mars from Scorpio (Aries), Venus from Libra (Taurus), Mercury from Virgo (Mithuna) but Moon is nothing but Sun's reflection (hence Cancer has been assigned to sweet Mother) But one thing is that, we don't know why mirror has been used & It's used but why that should be only perpendicular to Simha Makara & why not abhimukha other way i.e., keeping Mirror in the junction of Aries || Taurus || Scorpio || Libra 2. Regarding Pañcabhūtā, Ākāśa giving rise to Vāyu & Ākāśa combining Vāyu giving rise to Agni then so on. This isn't clear, I mean to say, How come 1 tattva (here Ākāśa) giving rise to another tattva (vāyu)? I thought that all the pañca tattva are separated entities. Because Parabrahman himself says in the भगवत्गीता right. भूमिरापोऽनलो वायु: खं मनो बुद्धिरेव च । अहङ्कार इतीयं मे भिन्ना प्रकृतिरष्टधा ॥ (As It's said bhinnā the separated entities) Along with 5 tattva, Manaḥ, buddhiḥ, अहङ्कार I mean to ask, if they are derived from one tattva to the other i.e., from Ākāśa to vāyu. Bhagavān may not use भिन्ना प्रकृतिरष्टधा (separated 8 fold prākṛtika śakti (energy)) once they are mentioned separated energies, I don't understand one tattva being derived from the other tattva. 3. Regarding rationale of special aspects of Outer Graha's. Actually, all these aspects have been derived & is been discoursed to Mahaṛṣi Maitreya by Mahaṛṣi Parāśara in Viṣṇu Purāṇam but not in BPHS. With regards to Agni (tretāgni) Ahvaniya Agni Caturasra dṛṣṭi & so on. It's been described in Viṣṇu Purāṇam. Thank you so much for giving an idea, Gravitational deflection of light by a massive body. General relativity. Actually I'm a Physics student. I'm also very interested behind the rationality of things. I'm yet to start General relativity. Didn't start, I'm interested in it as well. If you don't mind Subbā rāo gāru, Can I email you as I need guidance as I'm a Physics student, I wanted to know few things pertaining to Jyotiṣa (the concepts & other few small conceptual doubts). It'd be pleasure as it'll help me in contemplating. 4. Then if you could include in the upcoming session, I'd like to know the rationality behind considering the Rāśi as same as bhāva? I mean, according to traditional Vedic Astrology whole sign is treated as Bhāva. Whereas, lot of people consider unequal & also consider Bhāvamadhya sphuṭa to be the lagnasphuṭa & some consider bhāva starts from lagnasphuṭa itself. I shall share the logic till so far what I've contemplated on these things. Ascendant degree as start of 1st house will put the Ascendant at Bhāva sandhi & lagna will become weak by default. Hence It's illogical in choosing Ascendant as starting point of 1st house. For example say: Mercury is in Virgo lagna, Mercury at 18°40', lagnasphuṭa at 18° Virgo & if we consider Ascendant degree as starting point of the 1st house, Mercury becomes weak by default in this case. As we know any Graha placed at bhāva sandhi becomes weak. Hence Mercury becomes weak as Mercury will be in bhāva sandhi. But indeed Mercury is extremely strong because it's exalted in own house & will be in Mithuna in D-9 with that degree & also will be in lagna in D-9. Hence Ascendant degree cannot be taken as starting point of 1st house. Regarding whole sign is taken as bhāva? Mihirācāryā himself very clearly mentions in his Bṛhajjātaka in the following way: राशि क्षेत्र गृहऋक्ष भानि भवनं चैकार्थ सम्प्रत्ययाः ॥ In the very 1st chapter 4th verse last line. rāśi kṣetra gṛha ṛkṣa bhaṃ (plural bhāni) bhavanam ca eka artha sampratyayāḥ... All these are generally same, all the words are synonyms. bham or bhavanam is bhāva or kṣetra. So, It's clearly said rāśi is same as bhāva. And without this reference I've given a thought about it as well. Anyway, I shall mention in the email. Regarding equal signs, even though they are unequal Mahaṛṣi Parāśara itself recommends in BPHS to use equal house division. I still remember the verse from BPHS. It says तत्द्वादशाविभागास्तु तुल्या मेषादिसंज्ञकाः। Consider that 12 Rāśi which are in dvādaśa vibhāga to be tulyā (balanced/equally spaced). 5. Regarding nodes being rulers in the chapter Caradaśa, Mahaṛṣi doesn't mention in the verse that only in when we use Caradaśa we need to consider the lordships of nodes. That is for universality. I've seen the verses before that as well. But anyway, I'll think about it again. But this is been said in another place as well. Even Jaimini Mahaṛṣi mentions it. So, I'll think about it. You said special aspect of mars is due to the deflection of light by the massive body of earth. But in reality the special aspect of the mars falls on 4th and 8th house irrespective of the position of the earth. The same holds good for Jupiter and Saturn as well. Please explain sir.

Two children born in the same time in the same place don't have identical happening in life. Is it because of sun being the father and moon being the mother the karma what they have already gathered are different for different parents. So does the sun and moon posses different energy for different people? For example people born on same place time and date may have the same wire thickness (planet) same voltage ( nakasthra)but may have different phase of current depending on parents ??

The Ayush-sthanas are 3rd and 8th house and the 12th house (loss) to that house are the houses of Maraka (loss of life) ie death houses. This is the statement of Maharishi Parasara.

Thanks a lot for the wisdom however I cannot see how the sequence of solar system is the same as in astrology , because moon is nowhere near the Sun, the closest one is Mercury to Sun. Is there a different aspect to this view.
