This really shows the capabilities of the opl3 fm. As I played FF7, 8 and 9 on PS1 back in the days this are great memories to me, thanks

The midis i played are not the specific ygm midis offered on the pc release of the game but are the xg midis with the exception of Aerith's theme. Opl3 having up to 8 waveforms to choose from is nice. The bank format that I'm using for this allows for a combination of 2operator & pseudo 4op instruments. I'm glad you enjoy these. With each capture I do I've been trying to keep the hiss down to a minimum with using audacity to apply noise reduction.
