Danm, these guys have some mad chemistry. They sound great. And i just can't imagine Doug being about 70 now still rocking like he was twenty. Hard rock simply keeps you young.

you are wrong, in my own opinion. sorry. King´s X, especially dUg are making no so called "Hard Rock" nonsense. The sound of King´s X is outstanding. It´s just amazing. So many so called "Hard Rock" Bands exist. NOT ONLY ONE can mess up with this Band, especially with the work from dUg. Remember his unbelievable output in countless side projects. Hugs from Austria

@@BroeselerWell I refuse to call it metal. And they have their own unique style of changes, unusual cool rhythm changes, the beats are not what you'd traditionally expect. And it's still rock and roll and they do it hard. So, hard rock fits perfectly for me. Call them whatever you want, but knowing where they came from, influences, bands who Ty helped produce some of their albums (very hard rock) and most of kind of bands they toured with. Yea, hard rock. But I get it, they're different in the way they play. And people want to have their personal favorites stand alone from others. They're very different. But it's still blues rock with their own unique ahead of their time sound. It's like when they wanted to call Hendrix acid rock. No, it was heavy blues rock with more twists and turns than a roller coaster. Next thing you know they'll be giving the heavy metal album of the year award to Jethro Tull.

A masterpiece, I didn't think they could top the first album, they did it. Everything I love about all three players in one album. I know its close to impossible, but I have got to see this band live.

Having now received the album I must say that I'm delightfully amazed! Does this sound like an album that was thrown together?! It's incredible what these guys achieved in a very short period of time! THEY SOUND LIKE THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY MUSICALLY STARVED!! Given the steady activity of each members role in other projects I would have never imagined that they would have been able to write something so potent, off the cuff! I can't believe the amount of overflowing energy and musicianship bursting out of this record! Sounds like something from outer space - like nothing I've ever heard before! When the word gets out and people hear this record, they're taking over! They should be selling out the the likes of Wembley Stadium! Hope we see a video for "Big Sky Country". On a side note I gotta give a huge shout out to Ray Luzier! I really honestly love each member of this band and their histories, but from a drummer's perspective I have complete admiration for Ray's unbelievable dominance over the drum set! I believe he's the greatest rock n' roll drummer alive today!

Neither of their 2 CDs have left my truck's disc player since I got them from pre-order. Each and every time I listen I get lost on a journey in my own head. I think that's what makes them such great musicians and songs. I can't wait for the 3rd.

Those backup vocals in this song are BRUTAL, and such a fitting homage to King's X. Everything about this entire record is absolutely sick.

This is one of the most energetic and stimulating modern rock albums I have heard in a very long time. The blend these guys have brought together is rock 'n' roll GOLD! If you haven't already, buy the album you won't be disappointed.

The reason why these guys gel so well together is simply because they can play catch without ever dropping the ball. I think it's probable that for the first time in their careers they've met players that they can bounce ideas off of without the other members being stumped. Their overflowing talent and deep souls is the reason why they can produce such a spontaneous and brilliant record. It's probably a serious downer, in a way, when they all have to go back to their "A" bands.........until this becomes the "A" band!

I thought the winery dogs were the only "pure rock"trio that is really killing it but i didn't like the second record. Now this comes up and as far as i've heard the record - it's amazing ! thanks for that!!! As guitar player this is an amazing thing for me to hear George killing those songs! Especially on noises in the sky - solo rulez!

Something about the 3 of them that just jives, in their own right they all make what makes the bands they play for. Being a guitarist myself when i hear those screams, Ray killing it on the drums, and George what can i say the riff master, I just wanna jam!

How about a tour??? KXM and Metal Church or... I was lucky enough to catch George playing in South Dakota last fall at the Badlands with Dokken...spot on and it was nice to hear Mr. Scary (among other tunes) played in person. I did pick up the new album from KXM right when it came out and it's on all the time...it genuinely sounds like music was created, not put in front of them like so many other bands seem to sound these days. It's nice when the manufacturing comes from the artists and not a big record company...impressive and original.
