Dear Dif (or is it Diff?). 👍👌👏 Oh WOW, simply fantastic! This is a really fast reaction. I definitely didn't expect the mixture to do so well. Usually I want to get rid of rust and therefore I might never need this procedure. On second thought: I do scrap metal art and sometimes added things simply look too new/shiny. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health in particular.

Thanks for the nice experiment! I always used to use pool acid to rust stuff. Method: Put undiluted pool acid on the panel with a brush in the shade, not in the sun. Leave it overnight, do not rinse. Next day, rinse with clean water. Keep it wet with a spray bottle in the sun. Every time it dries, it rusts a little more. However. It seems to me tgat the hydrogen peroxide does a much quicker and less hassles job of it. I am going to try this next time I want to rust metal!
@ratrodsafrica2 жыл бұрын
I've also only used the pool acid method before. Much slower but it seems to me that it does create a deeper, darker rust over time. The H2O2 method is a lot of fun though, and much quicker!
