Ratt played a few weeks ago in New Haven. Would’ve gone if Warren and Carlos were still in the band! My pal actually saw Warren and Michael Schenker when they were playing together briefly in L.A!

Thank so much for this, but I came here for a part of the solo I couldn’t quite figure out (I don’t think it’s correct on Ultimate Guitar)- but your lesson skipped over those parts of the solo! Your lesson covers everything up 2:22 in, but then Warren does two quick runs that you skipped; your lesson cuts from 2:22 to that really rhythmic/choppy run starting at about 2:32 and on to the end. It’s actually the ten seconds between those two time points I was most interested in, doh!- those are some of the most breathtaking licks I’ve ever heard…. very jazz-fusion-y., with the passing tones/chromatic notes. Well, if you feel like it it’d be GREAT you can take another look at that section. I know I have the chops to play whatever it is reasonably well… I think I even know the notes he’s hitting, it’s just figuring out the technique, ESPEC that really legato part at 2:29 that sounds like it descends down the neck…it’s hard to tell whwhich are pulloffs, which are slides, which are hammer-ons, and which are some quick combination of these (pretty sure it’s a lot of quick combinations of descending slides and hammer-on/pulloffs. But with tiny hestitations in there… it’s a timing thing. Once I know the techniques in tbe right order, slowly, it’lwo t be that hard. Just dont have the ear to figure it 100% out! There’s a couple other videos of guys playing the solo full speed along with the song, but yours is the only video I’ve found so far that interjects helpful explanations of the notes and techniques… it’s SUCH A badass run… could you take another listen…?!?

Btw- by “2:22 in” etc, I’m speaking of the song itself, not this video (I think the KZbin software made live links out of my timeframes, which I believe w will link, erroneously, with this video). I was playing it on a streaming service- Amazon Music Unlimited- and that’s what I’m referencing. But it should be accurate on any such site as long as the song is at the correct speed and it’s the album version…

I have a question.. I’ve always wanted to know why does at 1:25ish in the actual song does it sound like a modulation for like 2bars . The song feels like it dips a half step and then comes right back up. I’ve seen a lot of lessons on this song and no one mentions that part or why it feels that way. My question is.. is it a modulation? Does he Gorbold OS into the relative minor? What’s going in that part? I love that part and it only happens once. Thanks bro!! And great video.
