I ride a Honda ADV150 and had the same problem with mirror width. I bought mirror arm extended that attached at the base and extended each mirror out about 3 inches. Perfect!

JC Higgins was a brand name for Sears, Roebuck & Company. It was a complete line of sporting goods equipment. Bicycles were constructed by various manufacturers, including Murray Ohio Manufacturing Co. Are the scooter tires directional? Could they be attached backward? Just my brain working overtime. :^)
@KevCentralАй бұрын
Thanks for the info. Tires are directional, and mounted in the proper rotation direction
@13Sala13Ай бұрын
Regarding the tires; my guess is it may not be the tires but the alignment of the front and rear wheel. If the rear wheel is pointing off to the side relative to the front you're essentially dragging the rear sideways. Place a straight edge along the side of the rear wheel on both sides and check how it aligns with the front wheel. Good Luck.
@KevCentralАй бұрын
Thanks, but alignment couldn’t change without something coming loose. Everything is mounted properly

@@KevCentral You're assuming the frame, headtube and forks were straight from the factory. Or of course maybe it is the tires. It's still a cool scooter.
@KevCentralАй бұрын
Thanks. It hasn’t been a problem unless the psi is off, and is more pronounced as the tires wear in, so I doubt anything was out of alignment from the factory or it would have done the same from the start. Setting psi to an actual 32 wouldn’t stop the symptoms if the alignment is off. Unless there’s something I don’t know (possible)

@KevCentral after 100s of thousands of miles, I have had a couple sets of bad tires do this. Yes they all get scalloped wear patterns if psi isn't correct for weight/temps. But I am referring to the twitchy issues. It's nothing wrong with your bike. Just get a different set if quality tires and you will be fine. Avoid shinkos. They are junk Great review on the scooter!

Sir, I am looking for a gas scooter for food delivery. max 30mph is ok so I dont need a motorcycle endorsement and I reaaly dont needthe speed, just the durability, reliability and easy maintenance. I usually do 50-60 milies per day. may I ask what would you recommend? thank you very much!
@KevCentral25 күн бұрын
Depending on your state - some don’t require a motorcycle license (some no license at all) for under 50cc. If I lived in one of those areas and needed to run delivery at 30mph max speeds, I would be looking at something ultra reliable and proven like a Honda Ruckus.

@KevCentral thank you very much Sir!

We have a Honda Scoopy that reminds me of your bike……perfect for city use

That front tire sure does have an odd tread pattern. If it was me, I'd try a different tread pattern or different tire brand entirely when replacing them.
@KevCentralАй бұрын
I’m hoping to get many more years out of the factory tires, but once I do have to replace them I certainly won’t be going with a Kendra. I will pick Pirelli or similar

I can't carry it up the apartment stairs nitpick lol 💥💥

😂. I complain moving e-bikes up the high step into the bike barn. I can’t imagine trying to work them up apt stairs

Genuine is a decent brand but if your going to buy a Taiwanese bike I recommend sym which tends to be a slightly better bike I own a lance PCH 64cc moped and a spektra 150cc which I just bought
@KevCentralАй бұрын
No SYM or Lance dealers within about 4 hours of me. I like Lance. My dad had one back in the day when they were chinesium bikes that had a somewhat dealer network to differentiate.

Good thorough review. I have a 2021 Vitacci Clash 200 efi, made in China, bought from Amazon for $1700 delivered in the factory crate. It has a Lifan 169cc fuel injected engine that runs great now with 6000 miles. Build quality seems quite good. What sold me on this scooter was the 14" wheels, flat floor, Lifan engine. I put 53,000 miles on my old Lifan 200cc motorcycle that was totally reliable so I'm expecting this scooter to hold up well.

Fuel injection does absolutely nothing to prevent gas gelling. You, at 5'10" are NOT a large guy. 5' 10" is pretty short for a man. During family gatherings, I'm one of the shorter guys and I'm 6'3"
@KevCentralАй бұрын
I didn’t say it wouldn’t stop gelling so said it completely mitigates any concern of it. Fuel injection is pressurized and will purge it unless it’s so bad the entire system is compromised. Average height for an American male is 5’9”. I don’t classify myself as a large guy. I said larger people can fit on the scooter
@tarstarkuszАй бұрын
@@KevCentral No, it will not. It will be worse. Fuel can and will gel inside the fuel pump and inside the injector. Generally speaking, fuel doesn't gel inside of one winter, so it isn't really something to worry about. 5'9 is short. 5'10 is short. 6 foot is the minimum to not be short.
@KevCentralАй бұрын
You’re free to have your own personal opinions as to what is tall and what is short, but average is 5’9”. Regarding gel. My comments were a comparison between a carb and fuel injection. Carbs can and will gel up from fuel containing ethanol, and it can start within a few months. I know people that let scooters sit for months at a time - some from November to April. I’ve seen those same people have to service a carb due to ethanol muck. I’ve yet to see a fuel injected scooter have a problem in those same timeframes.
@tarstarkuszАй бұрын
@@KevCentral I leave fuel sitting over the winter in Philly, which is about mid Sept to May. I've never once had this fuel go bad (either in the equipment or the can) in such a short time. One year, I bought 2 gallons and it was only in the 3rd year that the gas would no longer run my equipment well and even then it hadn't jelled (though it will likely gel in a fuel line much quicker due to the higher surface area). Taryl fixes all did a fuel experiment and even untreated fuel was fine after a year of storage.
@KevCentralАй бұрын
I’ve cleaned the carb bowl on my dad’s power equipment many times due to ethanol fuel sitting. His pressure washer most recently. It sat up from November to June and it had gel forming that kept it from running. Could be the humidity down here. Also the fact that he and others might use gas that has been sitting in cans for a while 😂. That’s why I like non-ethanol. Never a problem. Too bad the local supplier quit carrying the good stuff ☹️
