Rattlesnake in Cajon Pass While Catching an Evening Autorack!

I was dashing up to the top of a small hill to get a better view of these autoracks. When I stomped into a small opening at the end of the trail, a large #westerndiamondbackrattlesnake, was kind enough to alert me with his rattle that he was there. Thank God because I was within about 24 inches of him, and he was not happy about it! It was very close to being a very bad situation.
He stopped rattling after I retreated to a distance of about 9-10 feet, so I kept my eyes peeled as I took the opportunity to gab these racks for you guys!
