Rattlesnake Ledge Northbend, WA | Best of Seattle

Rattlesnake Ledge is located in the North Bend area of Washington, about an hour from Seattle! I experienced this hike in 3 unique ways: in the rain, without the fog, and with the MOST BEAUTIFUL sunset I have ever seen (truly). Rattlesnake Ledge may be my most favorite hike I have ever done, with killer views that will leave you thinking about it for good.

Completely agree - even though it can get crowded it absolutely remains one of the best "gateway" hikes. Easy to get to, not all that hard but huge payoffs. I love seeing folks make it to the top the first time and have the "holy cr@p, I just climbed a real f'n mountain!" look on their faces. And if you can catch a sunrise or sunset, even better.
