1:00 Here’s an update: a few months later I got a call from the client that the buzz came back. I ended up returning to her home and removing and twisting each bass string (for free). No small expense on my part as it took 2 to 3 hours, but it was the right thing to do. So in short, the lowering and raising of the pitch temporarily got rid of the buzz, but it was not a permanent fix. When I was done with the job the second time, I told her that if the buzzes come back again that the next step would be to replace all of the base strings, and quoted her a four digit price. I haven’t heard from her again, so I am really, not sure if the buzzes have returned once more, but at least she is now empowered with the correct information, and you and I have all learned something in the process!

Wow, you got the whole logo cleaned out in 30 seconds, no mess! I used to use Brasso but it's such a hassle, I just ordered some Flitz, looking forward to trying it out!

Whaaat? I’ve stared at so many fallboards while tuning and wondered how I might could polish those! I didn’t think about using my Flitz! Thank You!

I'll definitely try that next time! I'm a little worried tho that it wont last too long.
