That’s because this track was meant to mark the coming century. I’ve always felt it was a symbolism of marking the millennium as the track was originally produced at the end of 1999.

This tune was released in 2000, not 2005. I have this version on the Australian WILD FM CD compilation. The singing parts moves me to tears; then I'm headbanging away to the techno beats :D
