No introduction needed here really with this massive 2000 club anthem from Ratty (who you may know better as Scooter). Still love this one though, and that breakdown gets me every time. So powerful

Amazing tune I picked up in 2000, I had absolutely no idea it was by Scooter! 😂 The stuff they realesed was IMO awful, but credit to them for creating this, I would never in a Million years thought Scooter could produce such an amazing Trance Classic. You learn something new every day they say tho.

Scooter made this track under the name Ratty to prove themselves they can still make good music and get recognition even under a different name, it was at the time of their small creative crisis, they weren't sure which direction to go with their music (hence the track "Where Do We Go?" from 2000). "Sunrise" turned out to be a big hit after all. They also made a couple of references to the Ratty project in their official Scooter music. I'd expect no less from such genius as Scooter. Wicked! Probably nobody would have guessed that this was Scooter if they didn't release earlier the track "Expecting More From Ratty" in 1998, but experienced Scooter-ologists can easily hear the characteristic Scooter sounds and vibes in this tune. HP even aliased himself in this release as "Dave 'Bass' Parker" - like, come on HP... We all know that's you lol.

Belter of a tune.prefer full long version. Was in a club doing lighting for a DJ mate one night about 16 years ago,he was having a bad night as The dance floor was empty,he asked me for help, so i suggested this,he played it, the whole place went bonkers and floor filled, you just cant be uplifting iconic belters like this.

Now this is what I call anthemic Golden Era trance. So weird it's produced by Scooter, but then maybe not such a surprise because they've produced a few really beautiful tracks in the form of B-sides and album-only tracks (Rhapsody in E and Coldwater Canyon come to mind).
@ElectronicazMusic3 ай бұрын
Awesome track. I have this same version. And to the Scooter haters... You have clearly only heard the occasional chart track they did. Some of their album tracks and b-sides are timeless, magical perfection. ❤

Scooter's good songs are very Under-rated, this band is considered cheese by some people. They have - Rhapsody in E, Cubic, Tranceatlantic, Back in time, Experience, Psycho, Coldwater Canyon, Shortbread, Eternity, Curfew, Cosmos., these songs are pure, pure gold, extremely under rated.

Dublin features my own poetry I Choose You. I didn't choose the title of the song, but I adore Tim Buckleys heart melting beautiful original. ♥ Tim Buckley - father of Jeff who never knew his Dad, both music heads, both died tragically young, left us gifted. 🤗😇
