Government should strongly consider reforms in UPSC. Only 2 attempts for UPSC should be allowed, that too within 2 years of Under Graduation. Around 5k selected students should be selected for a Master of Public Administration course at "Indian Institute of Policy and Administration". Course should be a 3 years strenuous study and field work in policy, administration and public services, with semester exams. Students should be allotted services based on overall GPA. Students who dont get elite services or opt out of services should get campus placement opportunities from other govt bodies, Niti Aayog, PSUs, as well as NGOs and MNCs, and basically have a wide array of opportunities with this reputed degree. This will ensure lakhs and lakhs of youth will not spend their best years and hard earned money on UPSC being left with nothing after 4-5 years. Those who get in the course will pass out with a highly respectable degree at least. This will also ensure we get top class officers with real acumen proven over 3 years, rather than based on one exam that creates intense pressure and variabilities.

I am preparing from my hometown. And who so ever knows that I am preparing for upsc, they say why don't you go to delhi? I say I have financial issues and jitne bhi mere friends gye hai wo sab 6mahine bad health issues ki wajah se aa jaate hai wapis, na paisa wapis hota hai na course complete hota hai.
