Dude, thanks for the lingopie suggestion! This is definitely the best way to learn a language, complimented of course with a serious schoolbook or something. I'm portuguese and born in 1984. Here in Portugal, all movies are subtitled, especially back in the day (nowadays increasingly more kids movies are dubbed) so growing up, because of this, I watched a lot of movies in English with portuguese subtitles. I remember distinctly watching Star Wars episode IV "A new hope" once each day for months and months when I was at primary school. This is how I started to learn english and then of course with school and the development of the internet I got to continue that and started learning other languages like italian and japanese. Seriously, watching real TV shows or anime with real day-by-day language with the subtitles in the native language as well as the translations in the language you are more comfortable with is truly the best way to go about it. Thanks for your work, man!
