Thanks, Ricky. Just got a Vast 2 B Kurd Double Ding a couple of days ago, largely based on your advice. You were spot on about jamming. I've been able to jam in E, B, F# and G, and the minors of those keys, so far. There are just one or two notes to not play in each key.

I'm having a blast playing that slower tune on my new B Kurd, it's so easy just by looking how you play on the video. You're such an inspiration, Ricky! By the way, did you ever got a full song from it? I wish to learn something new but Hegemony song (that you're playing fast here) is far too challenging for me yet. I hope you will record more videos with slower playing on B Kurd. It's such a fantastic scale!

I freaking love your videos. So helpful!!! I also think your playing is strong and clean. Beautiful offerings. Thank you.

I notice the double ding has A2 note and the Kurd has G3 so as a beginner can you explain the difference between the two and what that means on a musical level?

Yes! This scale -- very nice!

Thank you for this review! I like the celtic double ding but I also like variety and flexibility. I believe this scale rings those bells well enough to warrant a purchase. :)

Thank you ! Do you have an overhead shot of the slower version of the tune you just played? The visuals would be fantastic! It would be a great way to learn keystrokes. Ding smile at normal angle.

Hi! No, we recorded it from only one angle. But we suppose that we can make a tutorial for this melody.

I would say that the kurd scale has a lot in common with the integral scales. As always, sounds amazing, and this is one of the Ravs that I'll have to get sometime... 😊

You should definitely consider it! For now we'd say it's the most versatile scale of ours.

Excellent Ricky I received my B Kurd last week from Russia, and love the scale, I like your playing style similar to my own, do you know if the chords are written down for the B Kurd, and also arpeggio runs also do you have 1:52 and 3:09 written down, can you share? many thanks.

Marc West hey my friend thanks! I can definitely write them down for you! The by Kurd is definitely becoming one of my favorite scales! Is there an email address that would be best, or does here work for you? Stay well!

I really want one of these, but because they're so exspensive (for me) I am a little nervous about which scale to choose! 😅

Choose one that is close to your heart. You won't be upset!

@@RAVVastSteelTongueDrum I spent a whole month researching and they adviced on line to get Celtic D major for beginner , yet I found the B kurd is the sound that suits me best despite the fact that it is more challenging for beginner.I suggest best is to go through all the demo sounds on the website :)
