@Lucas Agnehall A Witcher’s code is a very finicky and flexible thing since all Witchers make their own codes and break them to either suit their needs or protect people from other people. Take the Viper school for a loose example: they are quite literally assassins with Witcher powers and they (at least in the games) have taken jobs to murder royalty, granted it was either that or be wiped off the face of the continent. Or take Geralt who earned the “butcher” moniker by killing a gang of raiders to stop them from murdering an entire town square to lure out a sorcerer. All in all they have done the kinds of brutal work necessary to kill a tyrant like Dany became in season 8.

Henry Cavill emphasised in Dance + Sword training because Geralts' School of Wolf Sword style is a real mixed of those style. As a big fan, caville also emphasised on having the least possible stuntman sub scenes as he can.

Battle Cubes not so much random deaths but deaths are meant to show how everyone in the Witcher universe can be vulnerable. Even geralt with all his super enhancements loses sometimes and at times even powerless. Renfri dies? What of it? Kings and mages dies why can’t she?

this tribute makes me very emotional, a few years ago I was at the worst point of my life mentally and I was going to take my life, but then I found The Witcher 3, and it was the only joy I had left in this world and after that I played it for years upon years, hours upon hours on end, I played it every day, and to see something like this takes me back to that time and it makes me feel grateful about life and everything with it, and this show is as good as that game, and just hearing in the end part a lot of the stuff they call him, that's where it hits the hardest, so thank you very much for making this tribute about Geralt of Rivia, he is a legend and will always be.

Just finished episode two can’t wait to see the end I’ve been seeing negative reviews of “The Witcher is not the next GOT” And other stupid shit it’s not meant to be the next GOT it’s meant to be the Witcher I personally love it and loved this edit!!!!! @@bbaerga121697 True, but it lacked everywhere else, the dialogue specifically. Outside of a few key moments, I honestly can't remember much about the show (and I just finished it yesterday). The pacing was off a bit, some casting choices just didn't vibe with me, etc. Overall, it's a pretty average first season; not bad, not great. Just average. But Vikings (a show that I personally love far more than Game of Thrones; Ragnar Lothbrok practically carried that show on his back) had a pretty average first season. There's always room to improve in the next.

The show didn,t really explain anything about the witcher world in depth and just kept on saying nouns of places and things that was not explained as well in the books or the games. This essentially results in the world feeling shallower. Subjectively there are too many unnecessary changes such as with King Foltest. Why? And also why was Ciri or Yennifer needed. They could have kept 5 episodes for Geralt this season and the other 3 for Yennifer.

И я немного ангажирован, уж больно понравились романы Анджея и трилогия от cDPR, а на их фоне сериал совсем уж блекнет, теряя и смысл и изюминку. Но, в целом, есть и гораздо хуже снятые сериалы в жанре фентези. Если нравится актерская игра Кавилла, если снизить ожидания, не считать это прямой экранизацией ведьмака, если есть время, то вполне зайдет, я думаю. Местами, к слову, очень даже ничего ;)

It just amazes me the fact that, his story has not been treated as Yen’s, we only know a few things about his past: we don’t know how he survived all the “becoming a Witcher process”, nor we know how he felt, all those years, being treated as a monster. But even if that part of his story has not been told yet, we are all fond for him, as we see an empathic, caring, being, that suffers, lives and goes by alone, helping each other as it’s only goal. I really really enjoy Geralt, as we don’t see the ordinary hero that never fails, never makes mistakes, and always survives alone. We see him fall, fail, and be in need of help, making him more realistic and unique.
