OI!Watch it,mate..same boat here,so i can relate..but don't think FOR A SECOND that u have to've gone all Victor Meldrew;unless u give up on embracing the energy & vibe that got us together 'avin it to these choons in the day..it's still there within you,it's just been a while since you let it flow;go on,try it..once u do,it'll grow & show u what u need to know..or rather,remember:gratitude for memories & appreciation for who/where u are,compared to so many others that're worse off..esp.'ly that many are/were not in their prime at that time,as we were..reasons to be cheerful:we can do it,solo or together.Never give up,mate! p.s. if you're type II,that can be reversed through diet & other means,too:do the research,so you,or anyone else u know/care about,don't have to suffer unduly..remember,it ain't just us who've been sold a crock,but alot of the doctors/medical establishment,too.. EVERYONE PLEASE watch "The Beautiful Truth"(to the end,esp.'ly 4what's written when the endcredits music starts;puts it all into context) here on YT for a greater idea of the scale of it & the scope for hope we all can have!Go on..an hr-&-a-half will OPEN YOUR EYES & MIND,and could change your life;what've u got to lose?Apart from the supposedly "realistic"(ha!) view that leads to depression & despair at becoming potential daisy/worm food too soon..doctors told my friend that he didn't even have nine weeks left;he said "f@#3 that",did the research,changed his diet,supplemented accordingly,kept busy & mentally/emotionally engaged ,found out(on the way) how to cure just about every other condition on your own..apart from his,which he needed a willing doctor/nurse's pair of hands to administer/oversee treatment,as v.tricky to do solo & illegal in this country(and not coz of drugs/medication,either;the list of dr.'s/nurses up4 it disappeared from the 'net);so,being unable to travel,as to get to where it was legal,he got nine years more,instead..if it wasn't for the arrogance of a senior doctor not liking the fact my man knew more about his condition than him,someone "trained" to be blind to alternatives to standard medical thinking/diagnosis/treatment,he'd've probably had nine more.. Experience the joy of knowledge & howto useit for a longer,better quality of life for you & all you know or care to share it with... PRICELESS ;-)

The tone of that piano loop near 30secs in tho... 😍 Imagine peaking in a rave on a dove and the DJ drops this one for you, just take that in. Levels 💯 Mickeybeam your channel is epic 😎 luckily djs came to Belfast despite the reputation/situation at the time and played for us and ask any of them that did and they will tell you we absolutely went mental for them. Rave scene here put a lot of people who wouldn't have socialised really together in a neutral space on a dancefloor then the doves played their part and tbh it was like a release valve, everyone set aside their differences and just went for it largely. I've great friends almost 30 years now that due to the divide/ troubles here I wouldn't have ever known only for those raves and still the music gives me that same feeling only with added nostalgia these days😂💯😎 thanks to all the local guys, promoters and djs who made it happen here (and everywhere else!)

Totally agree Ciar. I was part of that scene in NI from 91 to....well I still can't let go. Those raves back then were surely indirectly part of the peace process? For the first time ever in NI no-one gave a fuck what foot you kicked with. Probably first time kids from our generation got to mix with the other side. Great times!! No, amazing times. Definitely changed me for the good!!
@ciartdsfa48994 жыл бұрын
@@eastgreenketama1in the context of the times where most socialised in bars etc in their own areas more than the city centre it think your right in saying I could have had a positive bearing on the conditions for that peace process. It definitely helped our generation drop their guard as it were and realise we were all the same at the end of the day. The peace love and unity vibe had to have rubbed off on some of the headers here! Brilliant times indeed, remember running thru police and army checkpoints wiped out of your head trying to keep your jaw from swinging while on your way to the next rave haha, you could write a book on the mayhem💯😂😎

@@tweeleaf Not hostile in the slightest son, just pointing out a fact : that breakbeat music has never stopped being produced since it exploded in 91/92. It never went away and came back, it's always been around. Yes there was an influx of tunes around 2000 ish which copied the original sounding 'rave' style, but there was plenty of breakbeat tunes being produced constantly since the scene was 'invented'. It's only music listeners who probably 'thought' it went away, mainly because they latched onto other forms of dance music and forgot about the breakbeat stuff, thinking it was dead and trance, hardhouse, DnB, etc was the only music being made when in fact it was simply that they were not looking for breakbeat music and just assumed it wasn't being made. What is hostile about that, I'm just pointing out the facts.

@@burnah404No. This is in the style of early 90s Hardcore (pre-Happy Hardcore sound). You can tell because the breakbeats are more uniform than a Jungle Amen breaks are, and pianos and synths are used for melody. In Jungle the bassline is also the melody.
