Hi from Okinawa Japan! I love how you logically and gently deal with problems of storing, decluttering, and cleaning items. By the way, I’ve learned to buy different tea cup designs and cake dishes, that way if one is broken, no need to look for exact set to replace it. Also, the guests know which ones they have used, if they are moving around the room.

I totally agree to all. I have inherited a set from my mum that she inherited from her mum and it was used only 4 times. I couldn't keep it because it wasnt my style so it was donated and made another family happy. Yes to all. I love your content. 💖💖💖

What a good and beautiful video. I am in the process of doing some of this - no family left - so packing up my good china and putting nice looking daily dishes in the cupboards. It did not make sense to keep my china out when not entertaining now. It might come again and then I will reconsider it. I like the way you keep your colors and look that is not matchy matchy but flows especially with the colors. And, I wish I had more drawers and less cupboards in the kitchen. Is there such a thing as a color chart for putting colors together. My home is all open now and I try to keep the colors flowing from one room to the next - is this good or not? I have never had such an open floor plan before. I am used to a more formal breakdown of the rooms.

Stick to a neutral base colour and have accents in different colours in the different areas. To make it flow, use one piece of the colour in the adjoining room in this room to pull it together. Do this for all adjoining areas. It will have a very seamless feel while still separating each area.

Loved your video. Everything is so beautiful and wonderful tips. Personally I don't purchase or keep anything that is not dishwasher safe. Especially as I age with less energy. Maybe someone else in your family would be happy to use your mother's dishes.

Everything is from Metro @ Mid Valley. The glasses are Ocean brand. Mugs, cake plates and dinner set are all Mahayana. Water bottles are Baci. Mats - no idea haha 😂
