Raven has Some NASTY Combos in MultiVersus

My initial impression of her is that she can be very oppressive at almost any distance and you have to utilize most or all of her kit but you can also just wiff everything pretty easily. Raven dittos for me have been us taking turns dominating and wiffing and thats kinda expected for a new character but also its happened a lot more on her than any other character in the game, and i have played every character since beta day 1. Im curious to see how people adapt to playing as and against her but as someone whos played harley more than any other character, i find raven plays surprisingly similar to harley despite being a different class. Something i dont see people utilizing enough is her air side special mobility, it can have some crazy surprise combos. You can really control the stage and play off setups simular to harley bomb/box/gun combined with side attack and side air, but with raven is bird and cd side special combined with rock, up special ground/air side attack. In my experience, the hardest matchup has been black adam cuz he can take space and combo you to hell while blocking projectiles before you get 1 move out. The easiest matchup ive had is jason because he just gets hit by everything and he cant touch you if you just control the stage. I think shes in a good spot but 1 change i think would make her feel better is if her active hitbox on side air was a little longer because the animation is a bit misleading

Ive gotta wait on the 3 day embargo to lift cause i aint paying an extra 10 bucks on her when i had enough fighter currency for 4 characters and they just converted that into useless prestige points -.-

You still have fc and they rounded up to the nearest 3000. You have to go to the fighter store to use fighter currency. On the 15th you can buy her with fc

@@HypeVoiceActing yeah you have to go into the gleamium tab to see how much fc you have. They hid it because they don't want people to use it. Lot's of games do it so people think they have to use premium currency

So, is there a way to unlock specific characters in the fighter road, or do you have to go through each character in release order? Because if it's the latter, then that's pretty disappointing since at the very least with the fighter currency, if you had enough you freely choose which character you could unlock.

You still have time to use the fighter currency but once you're OUT of it, its gone forever. Otherwise you'll be unlocking in release order. That's why I specifically mentioned new players because they wont have any Fighter Currency.

@BPlusEfforts I already used all of my fighter currency, but I only have 3 characters left to unlock. 4 once Raven gets added. But it still stinks for new players who want to unlock their favorite character. Maybe they can update the game so you can choose which character you want to grind for.

I'm happy people are enjoying Raven, though I'm not really sure if her play style fits me Something thats been really annoying me, and it's been a thing since Season 3, is now the game has a tendency to overheat and crash my PC. And from what I've read its happened to a few other PC users and even some PS5 users too.

Hear what Ur saying and I agree She's what I like to think of as a reactive character She's doesn't have combos really she has set ups Things have to be in place and she reacts to what Ur doing like with lanore juggling high or low Obviously she does have 1 some moves off of jab 1 Azerath combos from that btw Some ok DMG But Iam liking her her air game is awesome her edge guards are almost op imo My problem is the consistency of the character And she has no armour break accep the command grab, it's not the easiest move to just throw out and have hit But I definitely think air and edge guards are her strengths with lanore and her neutral attack AMZ she's difficult to deal with And can punish for ur mistakes But as U say in terms of strategy combos I'm not seeing too much true So in some ways she's easy to pick up and I'm sure she will be a challenge to master but I really think this is a good step in the right direction and The playstyle suits a mage very well

I do think Ur wrong I think raven can keep up I am garbage at this game I have beaten people who know what there doing with their character Yes it's a slow process than normal But Aryas bit the dust tom and jerry joker samurai jack She keeps up The hardest matches are the mirror matches but there good because we're all learning together
