I liked AC Unity surprisingly. On PC, when patched, and with a 980 or above, it looked amazing. There was some filter they were using that made the light look like impressionist paintings, which I really appreciated. Paris was super pretty. Also, I always felt the historical backdrops were one of the most interesting parts of the games, and the French revolution is an amazing bit of history.

Actually, Gameworks gave us that GORGEOUS Global Illumination which made the game look so much better. But it was unoptimised at the time.

I would get an APU if it was possible to use it simultaneously with a GPU- for example to help take a bit of recording off the cpu to the integrated GPU while still maintaining good quality.

Holy crap, Keys, I agree with you 100% when it comes to Assassin's Creed! I was really hoping for some futuristic open-world action with the way Desmond was receiving special abilities from his ancestors. Nah, trap Desmond in an underground temple, and focus on yet another ancestor of his! And then cut the story short at the end.

Biometric security by itself is quite secure. The main problems are how it isn't considered self incrimination to be forced to open your phone using biometric security according to USA law. That seems to be the most common problem with biometric security in my opinion. Most other situations are quite rare. Also a great solution, according to privacy and cryptography experts, is where the device needs one or more form of biometric id and a passcode. Im not sure if phones can do that yet...

don't think i'd buy an APU for gaming purposes, unless maybe if price and performance matched that of dedicated components on the used market, but if i was building an HTPC then i'd be quite interested in a lower end Ryzen APU, particularly if they released low-power models like Intel's T-series processors for easy passive cooling

I would get a APU I think the idea is actually rather brilliant but with Intel's step up on Iris and just the lack of performance I wouldn't get the thing for performance. I think the APU really bridges the gap between desktop and mobile and in all honesty if they release a super energy efficient version in the future I could even see them launching in a Windows tablet as well. Honestly I would love to see them on a android tablet but ARM doesn't support x64. Still tho I think the best case future for APU's (realistically) would be in tablets.

AC 4 was pretty fun. And, for me, that was mostly because they stripped out a lot of the usual AC stuff and just made it a free-roaming pirate game where the captain happened to be an assassin. Also, didn't the government learn their lesson the first time when they told Apple, "You will comply or else"; when Apple was told they would hack their own encryption protocols on the iPhone? Pretty sure they got showed up the first time they tried that stunt.

I am about to build a computer for the family for basic purposes. So integrated GPUs are the only thing I'm looking at. And the intel HD 630 already looked quite compelling, but if theres a middle to low end amd processor with a similar or higher performance APU, then bring it! Just price it adequately please...
