Nice! I just walked in from doing another section on the AT. I did some family genealogy in Virginia and hiked “The Channels” and the AT from Abingdon to Mt Roger the highest point in Virginia at 5700 ft. Caught a hitch back to get my truck. It was a nice time in Virginia. As you know the AT runs along then VCT Virginia Creeper Trail in that area. Hope we see one another this fall.

Glad to be there.. only wish I had went on down the night before. I’ve seen a lot of the gorge, but there’s plenty of stuff for me to see. Let me know when you plan to head out again.
