Crows and ravens are cousins not the same bird… both are amazingly smart animals. I befriended a crow while living in a national park and I miss him dearly. So happy this die came out and can’t wait to get it in honor of my Rufus friend❤

Actually, I looked up crows and raven, and they are 2 different birds but not that different, as they are from the same family. Just size and beak size, differences That's what I found anyways!

Love this, Dawn. I have a friend whose birthday is on 31st October. This, just like your previous video, would make an awesome birthday card for her! There is a difference between a crow and a raven. A raven is much larger than a crow.

From this iteration of the die -- these look actually more like Ravens in the head & beak angularity. Scale, though?? Both ravens & crows are members of the Corvidae family. They are both "corvids".

i was over the moon about your last card and this one is just as superb! I am not talented enough in making such full compositions, I’ve never tried really. By nature I’m a minimalist and love contemporary design. But for Halloween these are outrageously good! The raven is another halloween thing I’d use! Or skulls and coffins. but I haven’t even built up my halloween supplies because it’s always a busy time of year doing yardwork so I never have time and I can’t find the look I want. you nailed these! They are the best over anyone’s I’ve ever seen!

Oh, I would love a layering skull to pair with the roses! And yes, a coffin! Great ideas. I bet you could totally tackle a full composition. I too am a minimalist in most aspects. If I start with the focal point and build out and on from there, it all starts to come together.

@ I did one card that had a large floral and lemon bouquet for my daughter in laws shower since that was her theme. but you are really talented. You’ll have to mention the skull and coffin idea to honeybee because it builds on the more adult but not gory theme

Ravens are almost 2X the weight of a crow and have a deeper ‘voice’. Grackles are somewhere in there too! I just know those will dive bomb you, and not give up!

That rose has so many layers, I’d never ever be able to figure out what piece went where! I have a snowman die set from Honeybee that I have yet to use because there’s so many pieces. i can’t figure them all out. I do those lines with the side of my tiny blending brushes , they’re really small.

Dawn, Ravens are significantly bigger, have nicely ruffles/fluffed throats/"ascots". They are more angular looking, have thicker beaks, and croak instead of caw. Crows, smaller, more social, rounder, caw-caw sound, rounder, thinner beak. Both are BLACK, though. Lol. I'm here to be helpful..
