Graduated from Ravenswood in 1972. That school and its staff got me energized about learning and helped me get into a great four-year college.

I was from the class of 72 also the brother Anthony and his family stayed around the corner from us. Although I didn't Graduate I just went to JR College, and ended up in my later years Computer Systems Engineer. Yes that was my school!

what are your recollections on why kids did not want to come to Ravenswood? students from the willows or otherwise who opted to stick with MA over going to Ravenswood?

@@thefather3363 I think people heard a lot of unfounded bad rumors about the school, when in fact that from 1972 to 1976, it was a really cool school with an innovative approach to learning. I absolutely loved it there. Very sad to see it close. I bet that if it were now opened with the emergence of Facebook and Amazon in EPA and Menlo park, that the school would be flourishing

@@smlambert9418 I wish we had the space and resources to bring it back! EPA needs that presence again. I went to MA but had to transfer first week, I was going to get bussed to Carlmont. I wish I had the chance to go to Ravenswood.
