you can negotiate the msrp so the numbers will be lower too. Noone is going to buy a vehicle based on msrp. Also, the calculation is wrong if you put 0 down payment but you calculated with due at signing amount.

Do you have to haggle with the dealership again in these nation/state-wide lease deals? Or can you just walk in and get the price advertised online? Also on the other side, should you try to negotiate it below the advertised price?

Unfortunately, you’d still have to haggle… But my recommendation is to do all of your negotiating via the phone or via email. I prefer email since you have receipts of everything that was agreed to. Yes, you should def try to negotiate below the advertised price. Hope this helps and good luck!

In Texas, you have to pay the taxes on the full MSRP of the car on the leases. So if the car is $50k, then you have to pay the full 6.25% on the 50k. If you buy out the lease at the end of the lease, you have to pay the sales tax again on the residual. Please add more if I had missed something. This is also before dealer markups, and your unlimited oil changes on your electric they try to sell you.
