Can't say Axiom Arc was overhyped, since it was indeed overpowered on released. Nocturne was S tier. Axiom then was nerfed.

axiom is still a disgustingly large problem on zed talon and qiyana. zed specifically as by the time his ult clone dissapears his ult is back up, giving him permanent 2-3 clones. it changes him so fundementally that it makes him virtually impossible to counterplay with out a tank with point and click cc.

It gets outclassed by cleaver in almost every build for him, and the reality is, he has to get 3 kills quickly with it to get a second ult out of the amount of time he survives in a teamfight. His ult rank 3 with no AH or axiom is still up pretty much for every fight, so your trading lower dmg for no upside.

@@OnePieceFan2100 To be fair, Mortal Reminder is a trash item in comparison to Chemtech Putrifier, Morello or Thornmail. If the ADC finds themselves needing to buy anti-heal to stop a threat that can probably run down an ADC in two seconds, such as a Warwick, Irelia, Yone or Yasuo, you should probably be questioning what your teammates are building.

The strongest pick in the jungle in pre season was first qtrike rush axiom arc rengar perma gank. Like powerfarm till level 6, gank one lane, back, then start again every 60 seconds. Played it a lot and I don't think I've lost a single game

Hear me out. Axiom Arc Zilean, with right runes at level 18 you have 24 second cooldown. Axiom Arc reduces 4 to 5 second for each kill. You can cast 2 ultimates in 1 team fight. I did it. it was fun.
