After seeing countless other videos on this, I never wanted to try it but you did such a great job that I will now make a RAW bracelet and find another video with your other ideas on filling in the spaces. I like easy so one bead at a time I will build some awesome bracelets, thanks to you and your fantastic video. Thank you for sharing your talent.

So I've been using RAW and now CRAW in my bead weaving for about 5 years and every so often I watch to refresh so I know im still doing it correctly. I have to say you are tje first tutorial that explains why we go to the lwft or right at each addition and not just straight down. When I first started using this technique and doing an off centre pattern, I wish someone had explained why er do it that way and would have stopped a lot of headaches and pulling work apart when I noticed a thread in a place I didn't need it. Thanks 😊 🙏

I've been bead weaving for years now, but I always avoided anything to do w/ RAW, including CRAW, PRAW, (all of RAW's sisters). I think I developed a RAW block, and you've done an amazing, concise job explaining this stitch to me.

I’ve never understood why the next bead set would be only 3 beads then another row where you only add 2 beads, that’s how my patterns haven’t worked out. TFS, now it’s clear in my head I can try a bracelet and earrings I’ve seen, you’re a great inspiration and teacher. I love all the different designs you come up with and think sometimes how did you even think of doing that, keep the tutorials coming. Love from Lorraine in Scotland 💕💕🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I've done RAW, but recently came across instructions for "one-drop right angle weave." Does anyone know what that is and where there might be a KZbin video tutorial for it?
@ORCHIDandOPAL
@ORCHIDandOPAL 3 жыл бұрын
Wow, great question! I haven't heard of this technique, at least by that name, but I will keep my eyes open. I have heard of something called "stitch in the ditch, " which is where you fill in the gaps on the side with a bead, but that is probably not it. There is also the hubble stitch, which has similarities to RAW. If anyone has any info, please feel free to share below! :)

Does that fishing line stay smoother? I tried to use Wildfire and it just curled up and became a mess. Is there a coating on this to help it stay straight?
@ORCHIDandOPAL
@ORCHIDandOPAL 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Mary, I have tried many threads/line over the years, but now almost exclusively use Fireline for beadweaving (I like it even better than Wildfire, but that's just a personal preference). I have zero issues with it curling up, and it seldom gets knotted - when it does it is not as difficult to remove. Additionally, it is waterproof, and doesn't dry rot like monofilament fishing line. Some people still wax their fireline, but I found it isn't necessary, personally, and it can leave a build up of waxy residue around the beads. If you haven't used the Fireline brand yet, I'd highly recommend trying it, so you can see how you like it. :) I hope that helps. Thanks for your question!

@@ORCHIDandOPAL Thanks Gina, I will give it a try. I have been using the fireline beading thread and I really like that ,but I will try the crystal.
