Join me as I take you along for a special "raw adventure" with some friends. We'll trek up a mountain road in a Subaru, hike through the tropical wilderness, and explore vast hidden caves in the jungle of Pangasinan on the main island of Luzon, Philippines. Because of its remote location, most of these places have never been widely toured by the public, so you'll likely be seeing all of this for the first time on KZbin. Enjoy!

Hey Nate, great video and really enjoyed the music you played through the cave, very fitting. I can see why not many people know about these caves with how obscure they are and hard to get to. If you ever lost your head lamp inside you would probably never find your way out. You always do a great job narrating your videos, thanks.

It's always good to know people in the right places. :-) It's better to keep it off google maps. Could you imagine all sorts of "tourists" tramping through the jungle, chipping off the stalactites/mites for souvenirs, and writing graffiti on cave walls. Plus, they can hurt themselves rappelling down the cave. Keep it remote and a total adventure.

Very cool. Missing my 10 years in the Philippines that ended in 2019. We used to search for MIA's mostly from WWII. There's a collection of each note made by the guerillas in WWII that my brother & I donated to the War Museum in Tarlac. We used drones on our missions to see where the paths would lead. It made me sad that most Filipinos haven't seen their own country. Whether it be Sagada or the Batanes Islands. I guess it's the same for a lot of countries. Are there any issues w/travel due to COVID restrictions?

Kapampangan and Ilokano are not dialects. They are languages themselves
@marietyoung3067
@marietyoung3067 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for clarifying that. :) We grew up being told in school that we have X amount of DIALECTS in the Philippines and the National Language is Filipino. Never was cleared that these are actually regional or indigenous languages. Most Filipinos refer to them as Dialects and there have been misunderstandings on which ones should be classified as language and which one is dialect. Interesting topic I guess for you next video, Nate Hovee! hehehe!
@philph3592
@philph3592 3 жыл бұрын
I was about to point that out. Languages are distinct that people of different languages cannot understand each other. Dialects are variations of a specific language. In this case, ilocano as a language has different dialects such as ilocos ilocano dialect and pangasinan ilocano dialect. They can understand each other but it has minor differences where a few words are not present on the other dialect. 😁

Can anyone imagine what the local police would say if you had people on top of your car while driving along. Just going for a hike.

Hello Nate , In 1 of you previous videos U mentioned that U no longer need 2 go 2 imigration 2 sign up fo your vistor visa extension & R able 2 stay in the Philippines permanently . Has the law changed ?

Hi Ronald.. In my video, I said I DO need to go to immigration for extensions, which is what I showed on camera. You can extend the tourist visa multiple times for several years, but those on tourist visas need to leave the country before the end of 3 years (or obtain residency).

Lahat ng Pinoy, kumakain ng bagoong, kambing, tuyo, atbp, at least once in their live. Ano ka? Spokening in dollar ka lang ng konti at kasama ang isang forenjer, sasabihin mo nang hindi ka kumakain ng pagkaing Noypi? Come on!

Magkakaiba po tayong lahat, may mga pagkain na kinakain mo pero hindi kinakain ng iba. Just respect the fact that everyone is different in their own way.

@@miyakothug3142 were you raised and lived in the Philippines for a while? If you have not lived in the Philippines though you said you are a pure Filipino, then I was not referring to you. This woman in question seems to have lived in the Philippines for a while, yet claims to have not tasted a goat in her life. Was she ashamed to admit it in front of her foreigner friends for whatever reason? Are you not considered sosyal, when you eat kambing, tuyo or bagoong? I guess not, eh?
