Years back when I returned from living abroad I was preparing to visit New Orleans. I was planning to take some leave time along with saving money for all the expenses for my visit of New Orleans. Then Katrina was forming and eventually pounded New Orleans, so I had to cancel that trip. A lot of people from New Orleans came to live in my city and I was fortunate to meet a chick from there. She told me she went back to New Orleans to visit friends and family who decided to stay there. She also told me New Orleans was no longer New Orleans, thus to forget visiting, for I would not be experiencing the real New Orleans. I feel bad for this beautiful city, their culture, their arts, their food, their distinct music, and the citizens of New Orleans who had to leave. Now Ida has hit New Orleans and I feel that this could be the knock out punch of its citizens. I hope I am wrong. Their infrastructure, I am sure, has taken more than any city can take, along with its people. My prayers are with the city and people.

All my ppl do is suffer in this country
@yellowbird54113 жыл бұрын
People suffer everywhere in a million different ways. Some are "your people" and some are not. We are born with opportunity to be all that we can be, and we are not victims unless we want to be. If someone blames their suffering in America (if that is where you are) on others they might ask themselves why they didn't make other choices, to limit problems. This is for everyone. We make choices. And not everything that happens in life is wonderful. But we learn and we hopefully grow. Out of suffering we become wiser, and can sympathize with others who have it hard, and can reach out to help, even in the suffering.

The power is undoubtedly off. But it is amazing how, when a hurricane or tornado is coming, that they don't automatically shut off the power so people don't get electrocuted. Live wires hang all over the place, and I wonder why they leave the power on in areas so damaged.

The cataclysms that are now taking place in the world are cyclical. And strength, power, constancy will only increase. Many people think that the cases are lonely and temporary, but they are not. People need to understand that unification will help them to survive. More detailed information can be obtained by watching the conference: Global Crisis. This already affects everyone.

7 JEhovah has sworn by the Glory of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. 8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and all who dwell in it mourn? And all of it shall rise up like the light. And it shall overflow and sink like the Nile of Egypt. 9 And it shall be in that day, says the Lord Jehovah, I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the light of day. (Amos 8:7-9) 25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars. And on the earth will be anxiety of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men fainting from fear, and expecting those things which have come on the earth. For the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. 27 And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to happen, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draws near.
