We will get pass this, but it’s gonna be a long road ahead. I was a lineman for Katrina, and when I went down to plaqumines parish and the 9th ward, I didn’t think there was anyway that could ever be habitable again. Watching the animals, although sad, is also kind of interesting. The cows were like what is this, a metallic friend. The ducks were just enjoying a bath. Animals are resilient.

I have to ask cause I don’t understand. Are all those boats and RVs just left behind cause the owners have really good insurance? Cause they just get the insurance pay out of it gets totaled? I honestly don’t know, I live in the desert.

In the 1st couple frames I'm curious were those the steel guide wires ripped off that tower if so what an amazing amount of force it would take to do that

Those look like the cables that are for support of the structure to prevent excessive motion. If anything that's a good sign they prevented the tower from falling most if not all communication and power lines to cell towers are in the ground. Plus back up generator and battery backups ups are at most cell towers.

The Walmart and Candlewood Suites video is from Galliano, about 35 miles north of Grand Isle on LA-1. That part of Louisiana (the delta) is unlike any other part of the United States -- and there's no other highway quite like LA-1 south of Golden Meadow.
