I love the tempest. Really deep machine. Only thing missing is reverb.

Oh yea, a reverb and a "real" delay would have been nice, afaik it's like a midi effect delay thats doing a repeat with velocity fades. still love it and there's always the individual outs i guess to process with outboard pedals/fx. can't help but feel this thing ended up being a lot more costly/complicated to develop and support than originally planned by DSI. Long live the Tempest!

haha thx for all the love. Its kind of like a swiss army knife for monitoring/mastering, separate gain control for recording path and monitoring path, input trims and aux monitor trim thats assignable to anything. It also has a bunch of parallel recording path outputs so I use one for my live audio/video capture feed too. I'm basically just using this as a monitoring controller here and the insert path for a lil light limiting with the MLA-2

asus pro art 14" just a monitor, its pretty handy since its powered over usb to my mac mini
