This was the finale of her solo concert and just 3 weeks after she had an emergency appendectomy. Katrina refused to reschedule the concert and the fact that she was able to maintain this level of of energy and power after a full concert set and considering her medical condition it’s astounding. Katrina is the total package and it’s criminal she’s not celebrated worldwide

Yes, and she was tenacious and plucky with no regrets. No complaints from her even after that appendectomy. And I was the one concerned that the wound would open up every time she belts. Haha! Gracious me! 😂💕🎶

@@larryzuela5098 i never understood that critique!! i'm from the US, found katrina from reaction videos back in 2018 or so & was hooked...because she delivered such an emotionally convincing performance with each song...& she's got flawless vocals literally all of the time. but yeah, i've always thought she sang with so much heart & soul. ♥️

I heard of it as well. It's a total claptrap, if I may say so. It boggles the mind. I believe those critics are avid other-singer fans. Her vocals and talent would be considered top-tier here in the US. I can't find anyone locally who can render any song with total emotions, clear runs, stable whistles, one breath, prolonged notes, steady and clear transitions; and all that stuff she does that makes one a wannabe. Oh, wow! I miss that "Little Mermaid" @ this concert. The one I saw was 1 year ago. She was wearing a red gown at that performance. Her rendition was stunning, pure, and magical. Her vocals reminded me of Jodi Benson. It was incredible. Thanks, Larry! 💕🤗

I agree, that Kat's live cover of "Ain't No Way" is also staggeringly remarkable. It's a great Aretha piece. I notice only a handful of singers are prompted to sing this song. Aretha's style is not easy to render. But Kat did a great job! 💕🤗
