The camera is a GoPro 8, linear FOV. Pro tip: turning off image stabilization produces a better track video.

No key at all, just a master power switch. Because Racecar :)

Would you believe it's just a GoPro Hero8 Black ; I left the image stabilization on, which is why it tracks oddly in corners. Just turn off IS for a hard mount in a race car, and have at it.

How fast in comparison to the GTE version?

I've not had the pleasure of driving the GTE version. I would expect this to be faster - it's much more powerful, no BOP ballast, more aero etc.

You know, I'm not sure. They had a handful of their race cars at Thermal for the SRO race, and I encountered this one (clearly not going at race pace) while on track. Beautiful cars!
