You are really getting it done. I have a 2012 streetglide with 570-2 cyclorama cams and a stock 2013 1200 xl custom with the fat tires. 1200 is just a pure joy. Plenty of power like an old school muscle car. That 1275 hammer must be just nuts.

Dude it's freaking AWESOME! Quite a bit quicker sure...but it's not even that. The sound, feel, extra 1k rpm redline...it just transforms the bike. Things just so rowdy and fun, but also still cruises as good as it ever did.

I have the sportster, just need the kit, it’s hard on a working family man but I’ll get there.

Totally understand man. It took me legitimately 10 years to feel like I could justify spending the money on the kit. For now, enjoy the bike stock they are super awesome as is! What year/exact model Sporty do you have?

Hell yea! I ride my 883 sportster everyday and I was just thinking, damn I need some passing power. Seems this 1250 kit would do the job just fine.

@Tx_sportster idk if they make the 1250 kit anymore, the 1275 though with cams really is just plain awesome upgrade especially on an 883.

how long has it been since your upgrade? your bike sounds so good. hows the fuel economy? im weighing different options for upgrading my ‘93 883 and this is really selling me on the hammer. i feel nervous for such a high compression ratio on my old rigid mount.

About 1 year exactly now. Just got done with a 1k mile trip. Runs like a top. Probably 6-7k miles on the build so far with no issues. Fuel economy is unchanged shockingly enough just cruising around. Say mud 50s ish Keep in mind i have 1200 gearing. If you're getting on it alot she will drip into the high 30s. I wouldn't worry about vibration. It's actually slightly smoother then before because it's not working as hard as it was with less power. That being said on an 883 rigid mount motor you'll really want to heighten the rear gear ratio though.
