I like the swirly colors because it’s easier for me to see the rotation on my ball. Yes, I know how weak or strong my rotation is when it comes off my hand but the swirly patterns help you actually see it.
@wickedsickfunkyfreshroller2037 Жыл бұрын
I started with a swirly raw hammer and it actually tricked me into thinking I had more revs than I actually did. My second ball was a purple hammer with white grips, and that helped my realize that I was actually trash. Because of this, I’d be more inclined to recommend the solid color and get grips that stand out so you can clearly identify the rev speed.

Raw pearl is perfect for a burnt up house shot, so basically, almost all the time. If the lanes are fresh, or especially if there’s carry down, this ball is about as useful as plastic. I’m rev dominant so this is my go-to when bowling outside of league.

I’ve been looking for a solid color (black) ball for months. My pro shop had originally recommended a Brunswick Twist, but I’m definitely starting to lean toward the Raw Solid Black. I’m not a fan of the alien phlegm/American flag vomit balls and the Solid Black looks like a really good ball for a novice like me that has never had my own ball.

@@cstokes47 I’m still waiting for mine. I ordered it before Memorial Day weekend, but it just showed up a couple days ago. It still hasn’t been drilled, but I can’t wait to try it out! Apparently there was/is some sort of hitch in supply or backorder with the popular weights (14-15). I would’ve (sarcastically) thought that whatever venture capital group is handling Brunswick’s “former” bowling brands/acquisitions would’ve known that a ball that supposedly performs as well as the new Raw Hammers do, at the slightly higher than entry-level they’re priced at, would be a winner? Maybe it’s also that the whole country is getting back out of their cocoons and need new balls to fit their sausage fingers? We may never know.
